I would recommend the place is very clean with attentive staff, but the food has much to be desired. Other than that.
My sister is on a very limited budget so she took the smallest room available. It is OK for her needs. The staff has been fantastic. The food has been very disappointing to my sister and all the friends that she made there. We are not happy with the quality couple weeks ago they gave them a bratwurst sandwich with absolutely no sides whatsoever. Several times they have run out of food and had nothing else to offer which I was appalled at hearing activities have been limited because the van for transportation has broke down at least twice since my sister's been there she moved in the last day of June. Last time it broke down, stranded people in wheelchairs and other people with walkers on their shopping days, and the staff had to go pick up people and then call in their husbands who drove larger vehicles to pick up the wheelchair people and it was very stressful on the people that were stranded. My sister was not part of that crew, but she heard all about it.

My sister and brother and I visited this facility to see if my brother would be able to live there.
It was very nice and my brother loved it he was anxious to move in but we have to fill out some forms first and get some other things together but we’re hoping we can get him in there. [name removed] showed us around a couple of the studio apartments and they would work perfectly for him because he doesn’t need a whole lot he’s a pretty simple guy so we’re hoping that we can get everything straightened out and he can move in there within the next month or so.

Grateful to them for opening the doors to us knowing that she had some issues... we did not know where we were going to go....staff is wonderful and appreciate the amenities that go with the accommodations...what sealed the deal was the opportunity to have in home health care from Hope Services who is imbedded there at the facility...without them I do not know if we could have weathered the storm...she was able to remain there with Hope Services providing what we needed and then having Angels Care provide her needs on her last few days in Hospice...I would have given them a 5, but following her passing, corporate tried to charge us past the 30days notice.. which was a difficult situation... [name removed]/marketing worked hard to eliminate that which we appreciated...

Tour guide took the time to show all areas of the facility and answered all my Questions. Was pleasant and courteous with me as other residents we met along the way. Seemed like a cheerful and friendly place. Amenities like preparation of meals 3x a day and garages for car however there was a wait list. Rooms appeared clean. One bedroom was a very small place(500 square feet) as I’m used to an apt with almost 1000 sq feet.(2-bedroom).

A Community with Some Notable Challenges
The community has some challenges that are worth noting. Cleanliness in shared spaces can be inconsistent, and the dining experience feels repetitive with limited fresh options. The overall environment doesn't always align with expectations for independent living, as some residents appear to require a higher level of care.
Amenities could also be improved-reliable internet access within apartments would make a big difference, and activities seem limited. Staffing appears to be stretched at times, with frequent changes and team members covering multiple roles. There also seems to be a high amount of resident turnover, which can impact the sense of stability within the community.

On the overall experience... food good, staff friendly, helpful...sometimes there is an odor in the hallway, but they try their best...they try very hard to accommodate those with disabilities and challenges...love the in home health care offered by Hope Services...wonderful and caring.

Our experience
I only left because my husband needed more medical care. I loved it at Rolling Hills. I really liked everything about Rolling Hills! The administration people were wonderful to work with the workers were all great and the other residence were a joy to spend time with.

Overall nice community!
Staff is very friendly. Grounds are beautiful. Apartment is a great size. Activities have been fun for my mother in law. Although she has only been 2 two. We are working on that. She doesn't remember what she ate half the time so I cant tell you what she thinks of the food

Great Atmosphere at Rolling Hills Ranch
We toured and met with the staff to get an idea of “future options” for my mother-in-law. However plans quickly changed. The staff were very accommodating to our immediate needs and particularly situation. Every staff member we’ve met has been warm and friendly - and continues to be so. The atmosphere is positive and welcoming. The physical environment is beautiful and light. Any issues or concerns with the apartment we’ve had, have been resolved. We have peace of mind that my mother-in-law is safe, comfortable, happy and cared for.

Overall the staff is very nice and professional. My loved one struggles and feels like he is rushed in the morning. He was a person to sleep in and starts his days slowly. Also the gal that has cut his finger nails has been rough. Your services are greatly appreciated and you all are prompt. Thank you
