Small community (52 beds)which makes it nicer for a resident to assimilate into the community as well as navigate the property.
Memory care facility only so the staff is well trained on how to care for memory care residents
They do a great job of coordinating activities for the residents so they keep busy.

It’s is almost a year my mom has been living at Peregrine OP. A year of wonderful friends, laughter, love and experiences brought in by the activities director. We are truly blessed to have such a spectacular place right here ! My mom is well cared for and loved.

Great Experience
It was a great experience, but it is costly. The staff was very helpful. They were very warm and inviting. Being a person of color and a complete minority there, my loved one was made to feel welcomed, as was our whole family.

Mothers experience
The staff is awesome! The place is under construction, which looks beautiful so far. The residents are not affected by the construction. My mother has become involved in many activities and has developed friendships with many of the residents. Prior to my mom being placed there she was not eating, interacting with her neighbors and wanted to sleep all the time. To date she has gained weight and has a smile on her face!! She is content and happy, although it took her 3 months to get adjusted. My sister and I could not be with her round the clock and have no experience with this horrible disease, in order to make sure she was getting the care she needed!!

We’re so happy with them. It's a beautiful place, and it's a secure, locked facility so your loved one can’t elope. Our loved one is making friends, has routines day to day, and is settling in. She’s sleeping through the night and getting all of her meals. She's with people who know how to handle her dementia-related issues and reroute her mind when she’s having her episodes. They're always right there with her, and they have their own dialogue in how to handle outbursts. They're excellent. I can’t say enough about them and how good they're taking care of her.

They know all the key words and phrases they make lots of promises
It’s all talk off a script well rehearsed and presented to you and repeated when you have concerns The doctor with traveling doctors and nurses association is a straight up bully and rude don’t try to be an advocate- it’s not pleasent
Do not send any loved one here unless they are at a high level of functioning
I sent a vibrant happy healthy , other than Alzheimer’s patient to this facility

Not perfect, but my mother is well
They've been fairly easy to work with, and they're pretty responsive. I would say they're not perfect. They do drop the ball a lot on small details like getting my loved one ready for appointments and making sure she's clean and nails groomed. She's certainly not being neglected though. The facility is very nice. For the amount of money that it costs, it's not outlandish relative to their competition, but I wish they were more transparent from the start about what services are available on site vs what appointments and services we would have to utilize off site. We did have to make a quick transition to move in, and they definitely helped accommodate us. From a business standpoint, the seem pretty semi-organized.

My husbands residency
11 weeks my Husband resided at this facility. ( This was before Covid struck. ) When transferred to a skilled nursing facility, staff there reported and documented, "bright red fungal like rash in bilateral groins and peri area, right hip showed deep tissue injury, right heel showed deep tissue injury, left heel showed Stage 111 pressure sore and right elbow scab". ( I did notice this elbow injury before scabbing over, and was told " I should of reported it sooner,") No follow up there. All this after only 11 weeks.
I did send letters to the Peregrine Corporate Offices regarding my concerns and never received any feedback from them. No one seemed to care, no empathy from them what so ever. No one held accountable.
In conclusion, my experience at Peregrine turned into a nightmare. During the time my Husband resided there, I had no major issues. Maybe his elbow injury, but everything else all came to light after he was released and transferred to skilled nursing.

Best in the Area
I think it was the best available choice we had. There's not a lot of options in our small area. It is the best around the area for your parents. My father was in a situation that he could've helped, and thy chose not too. He was dying of cancer and dementia. They choose not to call an ambulance and could have do that.
They have one doctor and the doctor doesn't seem to know what they are doing. There has been a couple of things that they should have treated the residents better.
I even found human feces there at a visit in the hallway. If your parent seems to be in pretty good shape, it would be nice to place there. If they get sicker, then they get removed. I think if I could do it over again, I would choose a different community from the start.

Not the place for Dad
My dad was there 3 months and in that 3 months many problems mostly with his hands on care to the point we have moved him out . There is a new administrator who understands the place needs an over haul so really hope things improve and that my dads new place provides the care we expect and he deserves .

Best Care Ever!
I love this community for what they are able to do for the care of my relative. The staff is outstanding and caring. This community is always clean and has a nice environment. I am very happy to know that he is eating a lot and likes the meals that are healthy. He is enjoying a lot of the activities that are offered and likes making new friends. We would highly recommend the care and the value of this community to other families.

Everything is going good!
We have not had any complaints about this place so far. The aides are very good with mom and they have been getting her up and involved with the activities. Mom likes the food and the dining experience.

My mom is getting great care here in the community. The staff is excellent and caring. She appears to be happy with the meals and the variety. They do offer a variety of activities for those who can participaqte. This has a good feeling for my mom. I would recommend this value and the care for other families.
