They not only wanted to get to know the new resident but everything about their family so that they could make their life comfortable and as close to what they were used to when they lived on their own. They had wonderful food! I also did a lot of comparison and visits between Cedarhurst and about eight other assisted living facilities. The one thing that stood out to my dad was their availability to get them to appointments. \nThey also had outings several times a week to places like the grocery store or restaurants. Or just fun things to do! \nTheir activity calendar was above and beyond anything I've ever seen in an assisted-living! My dad was also even thinking of starting up a men's singing group. All the residents seemed very happy and very well taken care of! \nI had several of my family members say it was such a nice place, They wouldn't mind living there!
