Charlie the dog added to the ambiance. The spacious backyard had big trees and a vegetable garden. The Dr. released Mom from hospice and is now under a Geriatrics care team. Mom can now walk with a walker and we’re now working on keeping her thriving! This care team is extremely knowledgeable and prepared to also offer a loving & peaceful place to pass. I highly recommend this team. His rehab didn’t go well and when we brought him back to Assisted Living , he couldn’t stand, feed himself or pivot. I literally had three days to find him a place to live. This private home was 12 minutes from my house. I met with the owner and the caretakers. He had a private room, hospice care and round the clock caretakers. Words cannot express the excellent care they took care of my Dad. They engaged him wit positivity every day. Made him smile and laughter. And were there for him and myself as Dads condition worsened. They were God sent angels. Dad passed away Thanksgiving night. He missed Mom so much. I highly recommend this private home especially if you live in South Austin. Dad died with loving caretakers.
