Upon reflection, they should have not accepted my loved one as a resident. They obviously were letting finances decide their decisions. Worst month of our lives. The staff misled us as to his suitability of the population , the professionalism of the staff, and the safety they could provide for his abilities.

I am slightly hesitant to put real opinions in sentences. Overall, the facility is remarkable. There are a few exceptions that really really could be worked on as they are the same issues over and over.

Great Experience at Arden Courts
Arden Courts has been our family’s first experience with memory care and so far it’s been good. It’s not perfect, but my father has adjusted well and the staff are very friendly. The facility could use with some updates (like new carpet,) more staff members, and better communication, but my father really likes the meals they serve and most of the caregivers. They seem to really know their residents and treat them with respect.

Peace of mind at last
Mom is finally in a place they can handle her increasing needs. The staff generally is helpful and kind and care about my mom. There are some aides who aren’t as nice but I understand it is a demanding job. They do a good job of keeping mom busy activities which is much better than most places which have a parent watching tv all day or stuck in their rooms. Overall a very positive experience.

Nice Place for Mom
Our family was looking for a place that felt like home for our Mom. The Sale Rep loaned me their video book, so I could show Mom the place. Plus the photos on their website look just the rooms in the facility. When we toured the facility, the caregivers, RNs and community activity director were friendly. Since Mom arrived at the Arden Courts, she has been made welcomed. They keep an eye on their residents routinely and have contacted us immediately when she has fallen. We are glad to have those routine checks even through the night. The activities are organized and to help their memory. I would recommend Arden Courts to anyone. Thanks to A Place for Mom, who recommended the facility to us.

Best in the Area
All of my siblings and I were very pleased with the care our mother received. People who work with dementia patients have to love what they do to in order to stay at the job long term, therefore longevity of the staff is probably the most important criteria in choosing a memory care facility. Arden Courts had the staff with the most longevity - none of the other facilities I toured compared.

Kind, Caring, Attentive Staff
I researched & visited six senior care communities trying to figure out which would be best for my mother. It was a hard decision because I was putting her care into the hands of someone else. My sibling & I wanted a place that specialized in memory care. The criteria we looked for were: longevity in the staff, the activities that had, the cleanliness of the facility, the ratio of staff to resident, & the knowledge of the staff running the facility.
We chose Arden Courts at Yardley & couldn’t be happier with our decision. The staff there has been wonderful & the care my mother has received is meritorious.
They always have time to answer our questions & keep us informed of her care.
When we first moved her there one of us was with her every waking hour, but we let the staff lead in her care. After a few weeks we could see could see how well she was cared for & felt good about our decision.
Today we visit several hours a day & the staff continues to perform beyond our expectations.

My mother is clean and happy
I am very impressed with the attention to and care of the residents at Arden Courts Yardley. Since moving my mother there from another facility 2months ago, the staff have worked hard to find ways to work with her to get her showered regularly, get her teeth brushed, help her with toileting and generally succeeding at keeping her clean and healthy! There are more people at Arden Courts with whom my mother can interact and lovely outdoor areas she can wander without feeling imprisoned. Overall my mother seems happier now which is a great relief to the family as we were previously constantly burdened with having to check on her and having to care for her (i.e. clean her up) ourselves. No place is perfect, but Arden Courts Yardley comes close! The staff really cares and tries hard and communicates well. My mother's room is always clean and neat as a pin, and we're happy she no longer smells like poop - even if her hair is a jumble, at least it's shampooed and clean! And she's happy

Mom was so well cared for
They are the most attentive and caring staff I've ever encountered for my mother.
The food was not that great, but that doesn't matter as much as the other things do!

Best Memory Care Facility in Yardley
As someone who recently had a loved one residing at Arden Court, I can say with confidence that I could not have asked for a better community for my mother.
The Nurses at Arden Court are all professional and very knowledgeable about geriatric care, ensuring that residents receive the best possible care. Patient and kind, they are always willing to answer any questions you may have. The aides (many have been there for years) are caring, comforting, and gentle - treating the residents with respect and dignity.
Residents are actively encouraged to participate in stimulating activities - offered all day long - even on weekends - by an energetic and enthusiastic staff.
The Administrative staff is always available if you have questions, and someone is always on call if you have a concern.
If you are looking for a memory care facility that offers compassionate care, stimulating activities, and a supportive community, I highly recommend Arden Court.
