Above and Beyond
Transitions are tough as you age! The staff at Windsor Square made this so simple and hassle free. They were always available to help, provide assistance and advice.
We are truly grateful that mom is in a safe, caring, and healthy environment with yummy meals and lots of activities to engage in.

Windsor Square has been the best decision we could have made. We only wish we had done it sooner. The staff are professional and compassionate, and residents feel safe and valued. We have been at Windsor for over five years, and it has been a very positive experience. We have made close friendships and enjoy living here. Trust us, this is where you want to live.

DONT BRING YOUR VALUABLES!
i HAD CONVINCED MY MOM TO SELL HER HOME, AND PURSUE A LIVING SITUATION THAT WOULD ENABLE HER TO ENJOY RETIREMENT!.. IF I COULD TURN BACK THE HANDS OF TIME, I'D OF NOT MOVED HER TO WINDSOR!! HER LIFETIME COLLECTION OF JEWELRY WENT MISSING FROM HER APT WHILE SHE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL.
IVE REACHED OUT, SINCE DAY ONE , IN HOPES STAFF WOULD HELP ME LOCATE HER PRECIOUS ITEMS, SHE HAS SINCE PASSED AWAY, AND IT STRIKES AT THE HEART KNOWING MOM SUFFERED THIS ABUSE AT THE HANDS OF THOSE WHO WERE SUPPOSE TO CARE.
INITIALLY STAFF ACTED LIKE THEY WERE TAKING IT SERIOUSLY, TRIED TO CLAIM FAMILY MEMBERS HAD ACCESS, NONE DID! SINCE INITIAL CONTACT, THEY WILL NOT RETURN MY CALLS!

Would Recommend
Overall it has been a good experience, and I would suggest to other families to go take a look. It's convenient. There's a grocery store across the street, and there's a theater and restaurants within walking distance. The staff I've met were really nice. My loved one says the food is okay. I know they've had some trouble keeping the cooks and different staff. They do have some activities, although they're not really to my taste. But I think it's a pretty good place overall and a really a good value.

Be aware this is an independent living community and you need to know that there is no staff there after 5 pm. I would recommend this community if your loved one is truly inderpendent.

Review of Windsor Square, Marysville
The facility is good with good size rooms and adequate amenities in them. My mother came from a more expensive senior living complex so a reduction in the quality of the apartment was expected. What I did not expect and didn't realize I should ask is that there is not someone at the front desk at all times. Many weekends there has been nobody at the desk and during the week, the staff leaves at 5:00pm. This may be normal at other independent living complexes but I was not aware this would be the case. What this also means is that there are few activities other than card games for residents after the staff leaves. This also was unexpected. I think it would have been helpful to have had the staff hours discussed during the review of the facility.

My Thought Of The Tour
This looked like a very nice community when we visited. The person that took us on tour was nice. They offer a lot of amenities and pets are allowed. THis community was just a little out of our price range.

My Castle at Windsor Square
Windsor Square is not only reasonably priced, it offers much the same services and amenities of higher priced facilities.
The staff members have been congenial and helpful to me. And they are very friendly and considerate.
The residents are also friendly and helpful to me as a newcomer.
The building is pristine. The food is quit satisfying. Activities are numerous and varied. Services such as transportation, housekeeping, laundry, etc., are in place and readily available. Parking for those with cars and for visitors is ample.
I can't find any thing to complain about in my stay here at Windsor Square.
Friends of mine who visit me are favorably impressed, some even considering moving here themselves.

High crime!
I had a problem with this place when I toured it. When I was looking at the apartments, I noticed that the showers did not have the shower hose. When I asked, the lady just replied to me that if I bought one they would install it. Later on, I asked about crime and she told me that when they rob the place next door, they usually go to this complex to hide. It did not make me feel safe t all.

I love it here!
I really love it here, the people are fabulous! Our apartment is very nice, and we have a lot of windows for natural lighting. They provide breakfast and dinner and it is delitious. They have things like homemade rolls and a good variety of food to chose from. We love to participate in happy hour every Friday, and any outings that are going on. They have a beautiful central courtyard. We are truly very happy here.

Windsor Square Apartments
A nice family atmosphere. The staff is involved with taking care of the family members. A lot of the staff is young and energetic, but they are very eager to answer questions and take care of my parents. No bad experiences or incidents, which is good! The food is good. There's a lot of different choices, and it's not the same thing all the time. It's not carb heavy; it's a balanced meal. They just got a new activities director. The staff pitched in between directors. The hallways are clean, nothing smells. There's a game room, a billiards room, an exercise room, and a decent sized library. It has a hair salon that's open once a week as well. There's plenty of room for the family members to sit outside as well.
