Relief!
My Dad has thrived since having Solana in our lives! I am relieved to see the positive impact having the caring attentiveness of the professional staff at Solana has had on my Dad and his health. My own wellbeing has also benefited as I was fast-tracked into the 24/7 caregiver role before finding assisted living. It’s also a true joy to spend time with the social residents at Solana. We have visited other communities where residents weren’t even smiling during happy hour. To us, Solana’s easy access to highways and close proximity to many top hospitals and medical care providers add yet another layer of security. We’re very glad we eventually came around and chose Solana.

Solana provides the care and dignity that I can't provide on my own
Solana has a first class facility and staff. We moved my parents out of their single family home just as their physical and cognitive problems grew. Unfortunately, my Mom passed about 3 months later but having Dad in the community is a continuing blessing. The medical care staff has been proactive and reassuring to my Dad. Everyone there cares about him and his happiness. I could not recommend Solana more highly.

Solana rating
The staff of Solana Vintage Park has shown to be very attentive and caring for the residents of the community. There has been a struggle with the cafeteria from time to time with orders and food preparation. I believe they consistenly are searching for a permanent fix for this problem. Overall, we are pleased with the service they provide.

Mom's Home
Solana Vintage Park has become a home for my mother. The lobby and gathering areas are all clean and with plenty of light. The staff is friendly and concerned about the welfare of their residents. While my mother is unable to participate in most activities, Solana has a full schedule for residents to choose from. There are nurse aides to make sure medication is properly given. When visiting Mom I always feel welcome. Mom seems comfortable in her room and enjoys eating meals that she doesn't have to prepare.

Great overall care
The staff really goes out of their way to make Solana Vintage feel like home for the residents and respect the residents as valued members of society and their community which is not always the case with senior adults. Moving to AL is always hard and a process but we’ve been very happy here.

The Solana Vintage Park
When we had to move our aunt out of her home, we looked at several facilities in the area. The Solana was our top choice and we are so grateful to have her there. The people who work there know her so well that they could tell when she had a stroke even though the EMS personnel doubted it because the symptoms were so subtle. We truly have a team helping us care for our aunt. We love The Solana Vintage Park and the people who work there!

Excellent Assisted Living Care
We moved mom from Independent living to Assisted living to help with medications and to have someone onsite and available 24x7. Mom wasn't ready for the move but she quickly realized that she needed more care than an Independent living option could provide. And her move was best since I (only child) would be traveling more in retirement. Her first floor unit was exactly what she needed and she has fit in wonderfully. Concierge and staff have been great.

Solana Vintage Park review by family member
I moved my mom into Solana Vintage Park 2 years ago, sight unseen for my mom from another city. I knew she would love this facility as the staff had been great with this transition. And, I was correct in placing her here. The management, staff, caregivers and other residents were so welcoming and she has truly made her forever home here. She is able to participate in many enjoyable activities and loves also the quiet retreat of her apartment. The nursing staff is awesome and is always available with a friendly smile. I would highly recommend this ALF and trust the care she receives here.

Wonderful experience
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Solana at Vintage Park. From the moment we walked through the doors, we felt a sense of warmth and welcome. The staff is incredibly attentive, compassionate, and genuinely cares about the well-being of each resident. The facility itself is immaculate and beautifully maintained. My loved one enjoys the variety of activities offered, from movie night to rehab programs, which keep them engaged and active. The dining experience is manageable, with delicious and nutritious meals served daily. What truly sets Solana apart is the personalized care. The staff takes the time to understand each resident’s needs and preferences, ensuring they feel comfortable and at home. The medical care and support services are excellent, providing peace of mind to families. Overall, Solana at Vintage Park has exceeded our expectations in every way. We are grateful for the exceptional care and community they provide. Highly recommend!

Fabulous Experience
The staff at Solana Vintage Park have been amazing partners in our journey to provide care for my Father-in-law after he had multiple mini strokes. They have gone above and beyond in helping us with anything that has come up. The staff truly cares about the residents and helps us feel okay that we are 200 miles away and can't be there as often as we would like. Highly recommend Solana Vintage Park.

Excellent care
From the first visit through to the day I, unfortunately, had to move my husband out, the people at Solana Vintage Park have been amazingly helpful and friendly. During the tour and throughout the move-in process, I was provided with information about Solana and Brookdale that proved to be very helpful. Everyone from the director to the receptionist to the medical staff to the caregiving staff were all friendly and available to assist any time. I especially appreciated the Caregiver Support Group and the director of the Clare Bridge memory care unit explaining various aspects of dealing with dementia. The lovely surroundings, outdoor patio, activities, outings, live entertainment, and caring staff provided a wonderful quality of life for my husband. Unfortunately, he eventually needed a level of care they do not provide and we had to find another facility. Once again, the staff at Solana were helpful and quick to respond when I had questions about our move.

Very sweet
We never made it . She died before leaving the hospital unfortunately. We did have the room all moved in and everything and ready for her and they were wonderful to work with for that short period of time. Highly recommend them. They sponsored an alzheimer's support group that I attended for 7 or 8 months after my mother in law died who did not have Alzheimer's.but it helped me lots with my mom who died ...very sweet people

Tips for evaluating your community options

Safety is a primary concern when seniors and their families look for Assisted Living. To ensure that a community meets your needs and expectations, we recommend that seniors and family members:

  • Tour the location: Touring allows you to speak to current residents and staff, and helps you confirm the accuracy of the community description and photos. Use our touring checklist to help guide your visit.

  • Confirm the availability of required services: Before you commit, make sure that the community offers all the services your senior needs, and that those services can be provided within your budget.

  • Know the Texas regulations for Assisted Living: Each state has its own laws and inspections processes to ensure seniors reside in a safe environment. Depending on your state, you may even be able to look up inspection reports for the community(ies) you’re considering. Learn more about Texas regulations for Assisted Living.

A Place for Mom has scored The Solana Vintage Park 9.7 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
