Great relief for my mother
I am doing my homework to find a place for my Mom when she sells his home , I was told about the Remington from a co worker.
I felt instant relief and comfort after taking a tour and meeting people who live there. [name removed] is kind and knows her information, I met a bubbly girl who served snowcones, and the place is clean and welcoming. I really like it and now have an option for Dad. The general manager [name removed] also greeted me. I feel they really like what they do!

The Remington in Hanford, California has the most amazing staff their servers, the receptionist, their supervisors. Their management are all amazing kind understanding patient their management doors are always open to their residence and the residence families. I’ve gone in numerous times and spoke with Randi. She is amazing. my father-in-law is a resident there and I work full-time and I have my own house to try to run with two children and a disabled husband and there has been times where I haven’t been able to pick up my father-in-law‘s medication and they have gone and picked up for him. They have rides to the doctors, his medication I can not Express how thankful I am for each and every one of them at This independent living facility

Very bad experience
[name removed] was very unprofessional and would yell at the residents and talk to them like children. The hallways had cockroaches, and the food was horrible. The residents were very friendly and sweet people.
They were supposed to give us a free month when we moved in and didn't and said we owe money that we didn't
It was a bad experience and I called corporate and they did nothing.

Fantastic!
I was looking for an Independent Living facility for my mom and I happen to stumble upon this jewel in Kings County. The entire staff made this transition for me and my mom less difficult and almost seamless. The Executive Director is passionate and caring, the Sales Marketer is extraordinaire, and the Activities Director is young and sassy. The kitchen staff and wait staff go over and beyond any expectation that I may have. The housekeeping staff does a fantastic job in keeping the facility and the apartments in tip top shape. I receive daily updates on my mom. This facility provides a safe, warm and caring environment. Not to mention all the activities planned for the residents. I have so much peace knowing that my mom is well taken cared of.

Need to heighten up electronic payments
We really like where The Remington is located, it is right where our loved one previously lived and we also like that it isn't noisy but its serene. We also really like that someone comes once a week clean and wash the sheets and do light house keeping - we also like that they can check in our loved one when they come. We do think they could be better with the security up at the front door and make sure they know who is coming and going. They also could tighten up on their electronic payment method, financial organization and communication over phone. We are glad that our loved one is here, but they can still make improvements.

A Great Place for Seniors
It's a VERY friendly place, and the residents all look out for each other. It's just a good place to be. They really take care of their residents, and everyone there seems to be very happy. My loved ones tell me they like the food very well, and there are lots of activities to do. The price is good. It's just a good place overall.

Its is a great place, because they take care of your life. The food is okay and there is plenty of food given to the residents.
Some of the activities available are bingo, painting, music, and more for the residents to choose from. It is a nice place to live.

Wonderful place to call home!
Our experience has been very good so far, and the staff members we have encountered have all been very friendly. The have different options for meals and are very accommodating which we appreciate. We do think the value for cost is very reasonable, everything is taken care of in a bundle deal.

Hospitality Like Family at Holiday Retirement
Mom has been extremely happy since moving into this facility.
Even during the difficulty of Covid-19 lockdown periods, the staff has taken every precaution for the safety of the residents.
Of course normal activities/ music/ entertainment and meals have been different during this time, but the staff and management have been very accommodating and helpful with questions and concerns.

Mom moved in a couple of months ago.
The staff is amazing and makes us all feel very comfortable about her being there.
The grounds are beautiful.
The apartment and facility very clean and well decorated.
During a time of difficult decisions, this was a miracle for all of us.

STAY AWAY
My father died here and they didn’t find his body for three days. Do not trust this corporation with your loved ones. They do not care; will ask you to put their name on the title of your property if you cannot pay immediately and do not care. They are a huge corporation that doesn’t have enough oversight to monitor each facility. Stay away

Very clean and well kept facility
My Dad lives here currently. He really likes the food, there are plenty of options to choose from, and it all seems well balanced and nutritious. The cleanliness of the facility is great, it’s very well kept, and housekeeping comes by his room once a week to clean. The staff is great and they all pretty much know him. They do a very good job of keeping me updated and answering all my questions. They offer a variety of activities to participate in like bingo and wheel of fortune. They even provide a calendar with all of the different activities every month. They are a bit expensive, but the amount we pay is worth the care that he’s getting. I would recommend them.

Excellent care
I like that my father is in a caring community with excellent staff. We like knowing that the community is clean and he is offered a good variety of healthy meals. They do have activities for the residents to participate. We would recommend this excellent community for the good care and good value for other families.
