We developed a very strong working relationship with Director of Nursing and CNAs. When we had issues ( with \nCare and there were several) they were always addressed and our dissatisfaction was highly validated and support. Turnover is always a problem with staff. A few of the CNAs were excellent and went above & beyond and then others were sub par. Overall at times it felt like they were short staffed for resident care. Mom is no longer living in the community. It was time to move her to long term care. The staff treats her like family and she is always clean, dressed and involved in activities. She loves playing bingo and as she turns 91 this weekend, we are convinced we would not still have her with us if not for the love and care the Phoenix at James Creek provides. They went the extra mile to assist with the transition and have been there for my dad and my mom too as the spouse living apart. The facility is clean and welcoming, the staff are friendly and supportive.
