I am leaving bc my health has declined, I didn't want to bring caregivers into my home to prolong the short term time I have per my Doctor. My Daughter up north in Az wanted me closer to her and to be in a Assisted Living just in case. I understand that is what is needed, but its so bitter sweet. On the other hand, it is time. I have made so many friends here, staff and residents. When everyone on the web or in this building talks about how The Park is like a Family...well its because it really is. I have friends that live at other buildings like this, I visit frequent for Bridge games. This place place really does feel warm and welcoming. You feel safe, you feel valued. We are all honored by the staff but not on a pedestal, its just different here.
