Service in Dining Room
Once again the service in the dining room was horrible. I sat there for 30 minutes to have my order taken. No one acknowledged me or took my order. I got up and left. This is fairly common service. Maybe servers should start being fired for lousy service.

My husband and I enjoyed meeting [name removed] and touring the facility. Unfortunately, there was a misunderstanding with the floor plans available for a one bedroom. The initial person I spoke with at A Place For Mom believed that the one bedroom plan had an en suite. We looked at the floorplans with [name removed] and the en suite is only for the independent living. I am looking at assisted-living for my mom and she definitely needs an en suite bathroom– it is just too far for her to walk in the night through the living area in the dark. unfortunately, this has been a much bigger problem than I had anticipated as many of the facilities do not have en suite bathroom. I had hoped A Place For Mom could help me narrow down the ones that do have an en suite – but I was told to look at the floor plans and call the facilities myself. Which I am slowly doing.

Nice facility, some odor. Building needs a little upkeep, especially the patio area in the memory care. Cost is a little lower than the other facilities, but it is older.

Not a good fit
I think we would overall give it four stars. The cleanliness was kind of bad but the day staff were good. One of the night staff was mean and smashed his head into the bed rail bruising his face. He was afraid of her. The food was great. Activities were great. They ultimately kicked him out because he could no longer assist in his own care.

Lack of care
The administrative staff was great, some of the nurses were great some of the nurses had very bad attitudes & I truly believe my grandmother was mistreated by a few of the nurses.

Review for The Crossings at Noblesville
I would definitely rate it a 5! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful... they have very good food with a great assortment of choices and very good quality! The nursing staff is excellent and very attentive and has done a great job with my Dad's diabetes management as well as his over all well being. The rooms are very big, the facility is very clean and well kept and they do an amazing job with activities for the residents! We are so happy that we chose Five Star... which is now the Crossings of Noblesville! Thank you so much for your assistance in finding it for us!

Our experience at Five Star...You should definitely consider this facility
Staff (aides and nurses) are mostly very friendly and helpful. They have a lot to do but always respond in a timely manner, with a smile. You don't feel like you're "bothering " them My main complaint would be the quality of the food. Not the service or the cleanliness. The food itself is generally not that appetizing, though presented well.

Excellent experience with 5 Star
I recently moved into a 5 Star garden home and I am very happy with my decision so far. I was impressed with the staff and surroundings on my very first visit. The homes and grounds are in excellent condition. The staff and residents have all been welcoming , warm and friendly. I have not participated in group activities yet but there are several events that I am sure I will enjoy. The meals I have had have been very good and the wait staff has done an excellent job of serving. So far I am very happy I chose 5Star as my new home.

Review for Five Star Residences of Noblesville
I was not informed with the first visit that a years lease was required. It was when we were at the appointment to sign the lease they first informed us. They led me to believe that it would be possible to leave if an issue with my daughter's health changed we would not be held to the full lease. My daughter passed [date removed]. We moved her out in October and she came home. I believe we did end up paying November's rent but none after. [name removed] lease would have been up in May.

Tips for evaluating your community options

Safety is a primary concern when seniors and their families look for Assisted Living. To ensure that a community meets your needs and expectations, we recommend that seniors and family members:

  • Know Indiana’s regulations for memory care. Each state has its own laws and inspection processes to ensure seniors reside in a safe environment. Depending on your state, you may even be able to look up inspection reports for the communities you’re considering. Learn more about Indiana’s regulations for memory care and download the Guide to Senior Living Licensure and Inspection Reports.

  • Tour the location. Touring allows you to speak to current residents and staff, and it helps you confirm the accuracy of the community description and photos. Use our touring checklist to help guide your visit.

  • Confirm the availability of required services. Before committing, make sure that the community offers all the services your loved one needs, and that those services can be provided within your budget.

A Place for Mom has scored The Crossings at Noblesville 9.2 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.   We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
