Part of that time she lived in the memory care unit. The patience and understanding the staff showed was consistently good. Mom didn't just sit in her room. She was surrounded by other residences in the same condition. The health care was exceptional. Nurses always listened and responded to my concerns. I was always called if there were any concerns. The physical therapist were another wonderful group of professionals in the building. Such dedication to their patients. And during holidays, the schedule goes on. It's not like a ghost town. Regular staff members work on holidays too. They have holidays, birthdays, any other special celebrations all the time. A huge movie theater and beauty shop on site. I really don't know if a better place my mom could have been.
