Having to give up familiar surroundings and friends must have been devastating for the residents. I'd just like to say that we became very close to the staff caring for our parents. They were like family for the short time we were there and I wish them the best. I wish they had key fobs or something to open the doors. Also, there should be more activities or church activities. The food is okay but they're not making my mother in law stick to a diabetic diet so her blood sugar is high a lot of the time and that has been an issue lately.
