I like it. What I like is people are here to help you, but don't pester you. They are here if you need them. I have no complaints, my daughter lives close. I can come and go as I please. I feel the independence. I have everything I need.

Excellent! I have no worries whatsoever. I like the housekeeping they keep it up to date! Friendliness, interest + concern for us. Food is great - I wish I could eat more! The attention-personal attention is the best here!

We wait a little long for meals, and I would prefer a different meal time. Sometimes staff need to check tables for glasses/water. Love my apt, don't need any bigger. Staff has been wonderful to me. I am happy feel safe here.

It's nice, clean, wonderful and the food is good. There is too much going on and it's good. I spent 6 years at home in my living room on my own. This is a big change, I feel like I have miles of room here. I am goind a lot of moving and it's motivated me. Very fresh, new, clean and modern here. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We have had great personal care there. The resident doesn't take advantage of all the great opportunities they have there but they are very kind and helpful to her. I am very aggravated by a huge rent increase even though they have been on water restrictions for a month because of legionnaires disease in their water system.

Not what we thought
StoryPoint is a very lovely facility. The staff for the patients are very professional and very pleasant.
I was kind of mislead going into StoryPoint. My mother went into the facility under hospice care. The case manager of StoryPoint said that the staff there would work with her and she might even come off of hospice. Well, that never happened The hospice service was horrible. I had to remove her from their service and admit her back into the hospital.

StoryPoint Excellent Care
My mother has been at story point for approximately 18 months. She had been there previously with my father. She is an independent living, and has been accommodated to the most with the services provided by StoryPoint. As my mother ages, the services she requires change about every six months. The staff at StoryPoint has been able to meet with the family, assess her needs and accommodate them. Myself and my siblings have never doubted that story point is the best place she can live independently and receive the services which she needs to be comfortable. I highly recommend this establishment.

The Best Care
My dad was at StoryPoint in Saline for the last 5 years due to Parkinson's Disease.
[name removed] took over 3 years ago and the care became top notch! Perhaps even better when she hired [name removed] as her assistant. If either of them had left to go somewhere else, while my dad was there, I would have moved him to wherever they went!
[names removed] were both available anytime of the day or night. I am not just saying this, they really would respond to a message at 3 am & did whatever was needed. It is a vocation for them, not a job! I tear up just thinking how lucky my dad & I were to have them and the wonderful group of caregivers they hired.
It also takes a huge amount of insight & critical thinking to hire the best caregivers ever! [name removed] had this gift, and I believe [name removed] did too!
StoryPoint Saline always has always had great activities as well, which kept my dad happy! [name removed], the director, is also intelligent, caring and insightful which is what every retirement home needs
