All Around Wonderful Experience!
They just remodeled! If my grandma has an issue it's difficult to get an answer or a timely solution. Great variety and there's an option for additional options always available. All meals are onsite are included with her rent. it's a great facility and the updates are modern and beautiful! she also gets her hair cut at the salon onsite. They also have physical and occupational therapy:)

I would highly recommend Solstice. On the whole, everyone is friendly and very nice. As with everywhere, there are some who just need to be avoided. There are LOTS OF ACTIVITIES and the staff is very dedicated to making residents happy and fulfilled.

Excellent Experience.
We had a wonderful experience. My mother was treated very well by housekeeping all the way up to administration. She gained a sense of community there. I found myself helping other residents when I could.
I recommend Solstice to other families.

Pleased with the experience, definitely recommend.
Staff was very warm and welcoming to my brother on his arrival, in my absence.
I was impressed with [name removed]. I also liked that my brother had a balcony in his unit. Unfortunately, it is un -usable, because of air-conditioner. I wish he had a better unit, so he could enjoy the balcony. I think there should be more green walking area, and more physical activity encouraged . Music, Dancing, lite arm exercises.

Nice community comfortable living. Food needs Hugh improvements on quality and preparation
my sister lives there and by talking to her and bases on several residents , my sister and eating there myself. The food is such low quality. It is barely edible and cooked poorly. Overdone and dried starting out with low quality food. My sister and several people eat microwave dinners because it's so un edible. There is no excuse for it. That bases alone, I would not recommend the place. The value for cost - I don't know based on the food it is too high. Very unhealthy diet.

Nice and Safe Community
My grandma loves playing bingo. The employees who work there are nice. She enjoys going to physical therapy on-site. She like the variety of food and she feels very safe being at Solstice Senior Living at Joliet community.

My loved one is currently a resident at Solstice Senior Living at Joliet and everything has been good for her at this facility. The staff is pleasant. The building is clean. They do not provide care, this is an Independent Living facility. The meals are usually very good, with several options available. Purchasing Home Care is available. There is not much communication with the family, as stated, it's an Independent Living facility. I would recommend Solstice Senior Living at Joliet to others.

A Very Nice Place to Be
So far, we're pleased with Solstice. We're still getting used to going from living in our home to living in an apartment. But we're enjoying it. I like how friendly the people are and the sense of community on the whole. I would like to see meals farther apart, but I understand that's probably not feasible. They have lots of activities. And it has been nice overall.

Nice Apartments for Seniors
I like the community, and the apartments are nice. I wouldn't mind living there myself. The apartments have balconies off the apartments.
The dining room is very nice. The residents have choices of meals. There are a lot of activities available for the residents to participate in, if they choose.
The parking lot is not a large one, and this could be improved to create more spaces for guests. They clean the resident's rooms and take out the trash. They will even do the laundry for the residents if they request for a fee. The linens are changed and washed which is included in the rent. There is a barbershop for the resident's to get their hair cut at. They have cable that is provided by the community. There is a physical therapist that is coved under Medicare for my loved one.

A wonderful Community
The meals are great it is a wonderful dinning experience. This is a good place to live and the staff are fantastic. The people are friendly and easy to get a long with and willing to help you out any time that you need help. This is just a great place to live.

A joyful place, that is a good value!
They have done such a good job with COVID, unfortunately the activities just fell off even before COVID, they just had a hard time keeping someone on staff. We do think it is a good value and our loved one loves it there. The people who are friendly are genuinely care about everybody there, and we do feel like our loved one is safe and cared for. My mother thinks the balcony is the best thing ever, she can sit outside and have her cup of coffee, and she really loves the food.
