My thoughts
I am currently a resident at Seaside at Fort Myers and my experience at this facility has been good. The staff is nice and passionate. The cleanliness and friendliness is good. The care services, value for cost and activities are also good. The food is cold a lot of times. I do eat in my room a lot though, so that could be my issue but I'm going to start going down and getting my food. So hopefully, it will stay warm!

Excellent
Visited the facility and the staff and management was very welcoming and attentive. The facility was clean and the residents looked happy. The facility is located in a very nice area. I would recommend this community to anyone looking for a caring community.

our families experience
I am very happy with the care mom gets from Seaside at Fort Myers. I'm super happy with all the changes made since the hurricane. Prior to the hurricane Seaside had multiple administrative changes and went through ALOT of changes some not so good. Since being back in Ft Myers the new changes have been great... I keep my fingers crossed this will continue

A unique senior living community!
Seaside at fort Myers now offers an all female memory care community! This is unlike all the other offerings in the area. I am really impressed with the amenities that are offered, even for the memory care residents. They enjoy activities, outings, and educational classes.

Nice place to viist, but. . .
Seaside at Fort Meyers had major flooding during the hurricane and lost one third of their roof. Prior to the hurricane, my family member had already been taken out of the facility and put into a nursing temporarily for other reasons. Her unit sat vacant while we waited to see what would happen. I never heard a word from Seaside regarding what happened to her belongings. They neve once contacted me to see how she was doing at the nursing home. Two weeks ago, they told me the facility is going to become a memory care only facility, but I won't be able to come in to see the state of her belongings for six weeks while they're under construction (no family allowed during that time). But then I got a call form the director telling me to come and get her stuff now. Prior to the hurricane, the facility was very nice. The rooms were very nice. The meals were great. But as far as how they handled the aftermath of Hurricane Ian, I am very dissatisfied.

Delightful and appealing meals
Seaside at Fort Myers has a dining experience that is unbeatable. The food is attractive and delicious, and the atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. The residents of Seaside at Fort Myers order off of a very selective menu that caters to anyone's diet and flavor. The servers are both caring and friendly.

My Mother -in-law has been a resident of Hampton Manor in Cape Coral for 6 months. It was the best thing the family did for her with her approval. She is so happy there and the family are so happy they do not have to worry about her safety and care as they did when she lived alone.
She tells us all the time do not worry about me I love it here. The entire staff are wonderful cari g people. I would recommend this facility to anyone in need of a safe and caring place for their family.

Seaside of Fort Meyers has been absolutely wonderful. I love it. It has been nothing but a pleasure, and they've helped me through everything, every step of the way. They have a wonderful staff, including Carlos their LPN, and hands down it's the best place for my loved one. She's doing great.

Horrible facility
This has been on of the most unfriendly in knowledgeable facilities I’ve been this far. Staff is not properly trained to provide care to meet residents need. Nurse are not as friendly.. facility promises that they can me the needs of my transitioning loved one yet they was not able to.
I’m very disappointed if the service we have received. If it make sense I will not put my dog let alone my fish here at this unfit filthy non caring facility

Memory Care services disappointing
Memory care services are poor. Some staff are friendly and helpful, but most don’t care to interact with the residents. Daily hygiene is inadequate. The food quality is poor with minimum variety. The rooms are rarely cleaned and the floors are usually sticky. There is always an issue with missing items in the laundry.
