A Wonderful Over 55 Community
The staff has been extremely helpful to my brother-in-law and the entire process went very smoothly. The only food involved are the monthly gatherings, and so far that has been a 5 as well. Everyone cooks in their own apartment. We would definitely recommend this facility because the staff is fabulous as well as the amenities and yet you can have your own privacy if you so choose

Claremont has owned and managed the property since 2022. The property was built in 2007 and has had a major renovation effort since 2017.
Westwood is one of the more affluent towns in Massachusetts and has approximately 16,000 residents. The Westwood Senior Center, Council on Aging is located approximately 1 1/2 miles from our location. The COA offers van transportation for those who do not drive. There are weekly grocery shopping trips and transportation for local errands within a 10 mile radius.
Westwood borders the Towns of Dover, Walpole, Norwood, Medfield and Dedham. Our location is 3 miles from Route 128 / 95.

Residences at Highland Glen
5 for all except activities - one gathering each month with refreshments. You're on your own for quality of care. Value for the money is quite good, but it's on the higher end side. Everyone is very friendly and helpful! We would definitely recommend this community to other families! There are drawbacks. One must have a car or transportation plan, and be able to handle or solve tech/reception problems!

From Florida to Westwood
It's seven months since we moved into our apt at The Residences at Highland Glenn Westwood, MA. Our Mgr, [name removed] and her staff have made us feel so welcome. All questions and requests have been addressed immediately. The many social events at the Residences have allowed us to make new friends and our dog is very happy here as there are other small well behaved dogs to socialize with. This is a home run of a place to live and enjoy life.

Great move we made!
In 2019, after many years of living in our four-bedroom, three-bathroom home by ourselves, my wife, [name removed], and I decided to sell our home. Our four children had moved out many years before. Because we didn't know what to do, we decided to rent for a year and check out different options. My wife's friend recommended Residences at Highland Glen. Her mother had lived her last five years here and they both loved it. In January, 2020, Covid hit when we were in Florida. When we came home, with everything shut down, we decided to sign up for another year through June 2021. We since have decide to stay here. We love it here. [name removed], the manager, is wonderful and very efficient.[name removed], the maintenance man, is great and answers every call in a prompt and professional way. Thank you.

Living happily at Highland Glen.
My husband and I have been living at Highland Glen in Westwood for more than sixteen years. We both have been happy with our decision and plan to stay. We love the convenience of the elevator and enjoy our balcony and walking around the grounds that are clean and easy to manage. The residents are friendly and enjoy the social gatherings that are offered throughout the year. Service, when needed, is professional and thorough. Management and maintenance are quick to respond and always respectful and get the job done.We are a caring and welcoming community and I believe we are all here to live our best life.

Superb community and Excellent Customer Service
Residences at Highland Glen is an amazing place to live. I have lived here 9 months and only have the highest regard for the community and for the level of care and commitment that is shown to the residents.
From the minute I walked in the door to inquire about the property, the property manager was so hospitable. She made me feel so special. In less than 24 hours, I know that this is the place to choose to live.
The amenities are terrific. What matters most is if there is something that needs attention, the property manager does everything to resolve it in a very quick way.
The apartments are beautiful, the residents that live here are so very nice, and the property manager is great and professional.
Don't think twice about moving here! It is a wonderful community!

Highland Glen: a wonderful, caring community
Highland Glen has been and continues to be a place where I can feel safe and enjoy the comfort of a two bedroom, two bath "home", having most of my belongings after downsizing. Our manager goes over and above to make every activity or gathering an enjoyable, fun time and is always willing to help in any situation possible.
Maintainence is available and helpful to all who need it.
The buildings are well kept, always clean and inviting. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained, we even have a greenhouse where residents who like gardening can have an area of their own to grow veggies. One of the helpful and much appreciated features is our valet service, where 5 nights a week you can put your garbage and recycle articles outside your apartment door for pickup! If I decide to take a vacation, I feel confident in leaving , knowing that my home is safe and in good hands.

When I searched for a possible place to move to, this beautiful location came up. I contacted the property, and was so pleased to get a prompt response. From a new resident!
I have only lived at Highland Glen since September but have already been to two gatherings for the residents. I was impressed with how welcome everyone made me feel.
When I meet people in the elevator or around the grounds they introduce themselves and ask how I am doing.
The grounds and buildings are well maintained and I especially appreciate how quiet it is. Sometimes I think I'm the only one on my floor.
I look forward to many years at Highland Glen.

Very happy after many years here
I have lived here for over 13 years and have only good things to say. It is quiet, clean, well-maintained, a beautiful setting, and most of all I feel safe here. Management is top notch and always there to listen and help out. It is wonderful to have neighbors that are also 55+ years so noise or other problems are not here as opposed to other complexes. Having neighbors and social events that bring about friendships and a caring environment are a wonderful benefit. Even during COVID-- it was nice to have neighbors watching out for one another. I've lived here a long time and plan on staying as long as the good Lord allows.

Best Place We've Found
After looking in many municipalities around Boston for a safe, clean, convenient, friendly residence we found Highland Glen. After owning for many years we just wanted something with less hassle, yet quiet and near our family. We found nice people, good and attentive management and the only snow I deal with is on the windshield. Amenities like the gym, club room and valet trash/recycling are very convenient. For those that like games, conversation, book club and monthly social gatherings it allows making new acquaintances simple.
Almost forget the absence of surprise expenses for repairs and the excellent responsiveness with any maintenance as very attractive.

I'm so happy to hear from so many residents that they love the Doorstep trash and recycle which is included in the rent. No one has to go outside in the cold, blustery weather to empty their trash! Residents have told me that they also love having a fitness center on site that they can go to any time of day or night - even if it is to get on the treadmill for a few minutes to get some steps in! I'm taking this opportunity to advise anyone looking for a friendly, well managed over 55 residence to live. Highland Glen is located in Westwood with an active Senior Center for seniors who may rely on Center transportation to town services like super markets, banks etc. The people here look out for their neighbors and socialize in the community room regularly.

Homeless
My husband and I arrived in Ma. after a hurricane in Florida destroyed our home. We stayed with family but soon realized we needed our own place. We met with the manager and liked what she showed us. My husband was handicapped and the help they gave us moving in was so appreciated. My husband recently passed away and I have signed a lease for another year, I feel very safe here. I know if I need them they’ll be here for me.

A Place You Can Make A Real Home
I'm going on 7 years here and cannot say enough wonderful things about life at "The Residences". The staff are outstanding and always at-the-ready to help in any way possible. The apartments are spacious with high ceilings, large windows and low-profile tubs and private balconies. In-unit laundry is a HUGE plus and the walk-in closets are massive in addition to the availability of extra, private storage. The community amenities are wonderful, with a clubhouse that features a business center, kitchen, TV and library and can also be reserved for your own family gatherings. Community events such as book clubs, games, holiday celebrations and social hours are the norm. Join-in on anything you like! The roomy fitness center is always sparkling and the outdoor areas are just as impressive, with beautiful grounds, gardens, a greenhouse, BBQ, a large patio and an occasional DEER or two.
Overall, this is a place where you can make a real home. I love living here!

We chose this community because my mom and dad had looked at it a few years ago and loved it. I love it here, they take good care of the grounds, it is always clean, and my mom feels very safe here. Her 1 bedroom is a little small, but we managed to get her bed and two tables in. My favorite part about Residences at Highland Glen has been the welcome-ness they have given to my mom. It is a wonderful place and has been really good. I would absolutely recommend.

My review at Highland Glen
We chose this community because it was the nicest one out of the ones we looked at. It is also very quiet. The building was built 15 years ago but you would never know it, they take good care of the property and are always cleaning. The room sizes are decent, I have a 1 bedroom apartment with a beautiful open kitchen, wood floors, a dining room area, and a porch. The bathroom is very big, it also has handles in the tub and outside of the tub. Anytime someone moves out, the remodel the whole place. They bring in all new appliances and repaint. They do have a gym, meet and greets for the new residents, but these activities are shut down due to the virus. I have and will recommend Residences at Highland Glen.
