While there is no perfect place anywhere, PVP is a beautiful facility with staff that engage in conversations with their residents. There is a hairstylist, a gym, a game room, a bar, a movie theater. And, you can eat meals with others in the dining hall or in private. You can live as independently as you choose or you can request additional services. For me, knowing my mother was surrounded by people who genuinely cared about her and who could support her physical needs was most important. I am still active and didn't want to say that I live in an old folk's home, this is not that which I really like. They actually have 10 activities every day, the residents choose what they want to do not the activities director. My favorite area is the Bar and Lounge with Happy Hour, at 4 pm. CLASSY! The rooms are the largest I have seen, and the one bedroom has a full kitchen if I want to cook something, otherwise I will be sitting on my balcony enjoying a glass of wine.
