The staff was friendly and provided great care. The facilities were clean and the room was just the right size for my Dad. I would absolutely recommend them to others who are searching for senior living for their loved one.

Yet another disappointing assisted living facility
Mom would call for help and either nobody would answer or if they did they wouldn't show for hours. Mom also complained about various matters and most were not addressed until I called and complained too. I had to act as an extra advocate for her. Also, some staff were nice and others were unpleasant.

Cleanliness is good. Staff is friendly but sometimes careless. Food/dining is good. Room size is adequate. Quality of care is good but administration is lacking. It is taking a lot of effort to get things coordinated.

My experience was easier than I thought it was going to be.
My mother and step father say every time I talk to them how nice everyone is from the person who cleans their room, to the people that serve the food even the head of maintenance and the security guard too . They also say the food is really good and there is always an activity of some sort going on. They say it's always clean and they feel safe. As their daughter I can not ask for more .

Improvements needed
A month or so ago, I would've given much higher numbers. But they lost their main nurse for memory care and things have gone downhill since then.
They are currently understaffed. They need a second nurse. And they need a new chef. The food is not very good.

Home away from Home!
Staff is friendly and have good communication between nurses and my husband and I. The room size is perfect for my mother in law. The facility is bringing on more activities than they had when she moved there in the fall. They have things like sip and paint/ice cream parties/trivia parties and things like that.

family experience
When it comes to the care services, there is not enough staff to watch residents. We felt she was kept in bed as a way of keeping her from falling. The food was ok, but my mother needed someone to feed her at times and people not always available. It was at a reasonable rate based on the other facilities in the area, so I assume we get what we paid for

Improvements or Do Your Research before you Stay
Unfortunately, this was not a good fit for my Mom. The director and head nurse are now gone and that was a debacle. They were insistent that they could accommodate my Mom. They were NOT capable of handling the skilled health care my Mom needed. I asked them many times if she was over their head and they said no. While the staff is friendly, the contractors that are there at nights and weekends, do not do their job, ignore residents call button alerts and I would find them sometimes just sitting in an empty area ignoring residents. I don't know how it is now, since the director and nurse abruptly exited. We left by [date removed]. So we were only there from [date removed] to [date removed]. I hope it is not still the same, because there are a lot of nice and needy residents there and if they are still being cared for this way, It is not right. As for "value" of cost, since it was not a good fit it is hard to say if the value is reasonable. I hope they have help there. Also, they just hire anyone to work there with no real credentials.

Good Personal Care at Park Creek Place
Very nice, homey environment. Really liked the facility’s layout, especially the small home-like dining areas. Cheerful and helpful staff.
While my mom was only a resident in respite care for a couple of months before passing away, the time we spent with her at Park Creek Place will always be a fond memory. No regrets about choosing Park Creek.

I'd recommend them. It's honestly the best care my father ever got and he had been in a few places. They're proactive in making sure he resident is clean and taken care of instead of waiting on resident to ask. Response time was great and overall very caring. I never worried he wasn't cared for when there. They went out of their way to be welcoming. They met with my father where he was at skilled nursing on a weekend instead of waiting until a weekday to get the ball rolling. The facility was very nice, clean and the staff very friendly. They were mid priced at the places we looked at.

Experience so far
The facility is clean and accessible. It is smaller and has a home like feel. Some of the staff is great, others not that good. The administration team left. Not sure if by choice or if asked to leave. Communication with family is subpar. My family member's refrigerator is not functioning properly. We told them repeatedly since a month ago. Still no repair. Internet WiFi is poor. Housekeeping is fair. Food is not good.

ED is great. Experienced, and compassionate. The ED and the head nurse met with us and inspired a lot of confidence. Unfortunately, the head nurse has since left and I have some concerns until she is replaced.

Quaint community but needs improvement.
The community is nice as far as residents and most of the staff. The evening staff could be a little more attentive. One flaw is that they hire inexperienced non train people from outside with no formal training in health or aide service. They also need more coverage and support from their newly acquired upper management. I think the director [name removed] really tries hard but she is over whelmed and should have more staff.
