They are very friendly and helpful with things you ask about.
As far as the food is concerned, they serve a lot of things that my mother cannot eat such as fish, BBQ, etc.
Overall it has been a positive experience and I could recommend Noel Manor to others.

Poor treatment by staff
My mom is having an issue with the temperature in her apartment. Last week it got up to 80 with the air conditioning on. A very rude maintenance man came and told her she has to live with it.

Our experience so far
I have not had any follow-up meetings or any communication since mom moved in.
I think that the meals maybe better suited for Seniors with difficulties eating? Mom just doesn't like it. It is often over done, cold, and hard to chew.
Overall, I would recommend Noel Manor with these caveats.

Terrible Management
The management team said they would be more than willing to work with the family if any issues arose - however rather then working with our family just after a few short weeks of our loved one being there, they illegal evicted him before Christmas. When we brought this to their attention and to have a conversation they ghosted us. It was basically the worst experience ever.

Noel Manor seems to be a good fit for our loved one so far.
Initial move-in was a bit of a challenge as our loved one didn't seem she was set to move in and didn't want to .
Once got passed the initial resisitance the team welcoming our loved one on board was nothing short of exceptional.
Very welcoming and very caring making it easier for our family to know she was believed to be in the correct place for her later years.
Many activities which hope she gets more comfortable and gets involved in to keep her happy and making friends rather than just staying in her room.
Overall very pleased with the Noel Manor Retirement facility.

Verona Home
I recently visited the cousin now living at Noel Manor, when I'd helped to find this senior placement. Very impressed overall-deal with friendly staff, good activity offerings. I accompanied her to 3 exercise classes and was impressed with the instructor's knowledge, and exercise/balance routines. (Residents only complaints are minor, re availability of veggies at evening meal). We're both pleased with our choice.
