The House of Emmanuel is a lovely, homelike setting with caring and compassionate staff. The meals are well prepared and tasty. In addition, the other residents are pleasant and easy to relate to. Overall, it is a wonderful setting that I would highly recommend to others. My sister always informs me she is happy and loves living at the home.

Good Experience
They have pretty good people who work there, but they have a lot of changeover in staff. They tend to use people who are here on visas, so once their visas expire, they have to leave. Their visa lengths seem to vary from 6 months to a year. But the good thing is, the care attendants stay there in the house with the residents, so there are no shift changes. That was actually better for my loved one with dementia to adjust to. The dining experience has been fine. The meals themselves are as good as the cook, depending on who is cooking that day. We've had meals there ranging from great to just okay. Generally I would say spend some time there to see if it's the type of environment your family member would be comfortable in. It's a small, intimate environment, with only a few residents. Really the only area for improvement would be activities. I think they could do a little more.

A positive experience
The friendliness of the staff members and their care services get 100%, and with the meals and dining they offer three meals a day plus snacks. The staff really care for the residents and compared to other facilities in the area, the value for cost is not near as expensive.

A great place for a loved one. Very friendly, homey, and comfortable environment.
They are very friendly. They provide excellent care and show true care for the residents. They're always there to answer any questions. The building itself maybe needs a little bit of an upgrade. But it's fairly priced and in line with what they offer.
