She immediately got involved with the daily activities they provide and she was all smiles after getting that candy bar for the Bingo prize! After nearly a year and half, my mom suffered a stroke and was not able to recover. She entered into hospice at a skilled nursing facility and some Fairmont staff visited on their own to hold her hand up until a few hours before she passed away at the age of 90. While cleaning out her apartment, staff stopped by to offer their condolences.
