The staff at Danbury is always helpful and go above and beyond in departments. I do have some concerns about the rent increases of the last 2 years.
About the facility Danbury North Canton
Danbury North Canton is a resort-style independent living community surrounded by wooded greenery. The community is located in the suburban area of North Canton, Ohio, which is approximately an hour southeast of Cleveland.
While living at Danbury North Canton, residents have access to pet-friendly living accommodations while receiving quality care. Residents can choose between a variety of spacious private living accommodations, including studio, one-bedroom, and two-bedroom apartments. These apartments have safety features that meet ADA requirements, like the grab bars and the accessible showers. They may also include emergency response systems, as well as a private patio or balcony. Convenient services like cleaning and laundry help seniors live a carefree lifestyle. In addition to convenience, seniors receive round-the-clock care provided by licensed nursing staff and care companions. Residents also have access to an on-site medical clinic, which may require additional charges.

Welcoming, friendly, easy, clean and beautiful!
Caring staff with a good attitude. Lots of places to wonder outside for fresh air or a neighborhood to talk to. A safe environment but not confining. Wonderful food!

Everyone from housekeeping to the Executive Director is friendly, professional and helpful. Programming, including piano concert, cooker tournaments, outings and is geared toward residents' satisfaction. Residents themselves friendly and more than willing to make you part of their Danbury community.

Very friendly and accommodating
They are willing to make my mom feel welcome and treat her like family. They were willing to work with us and make the transition as smooth as possible. My mom feels at home and is able to relax knowing she is safe and has things to do, two meals a day and friends all under the same roof.

Mom's experience has been mainly positive with some room for improvement. The staff is nice and friendly but not always efficient. Over all she is happy there.

Thriving not just surviving!
My mother moved into Danbury about two months ago and she loves the community. She engages in many of the activities they offer; card games, gardening, bingo, social hour and the outings. She has met many new friends to talk with and learn from.
The people that work at Danbury are very friendly and accommodating. When she needs something done in her apt it is done quickly.
We are glad that our mother is happy there and thriving because she is engaged. Thank you for taking such good care of her and giving her family peace of mind.

Review for Danbury North Canton
I would recommend Danbury Senior Living to a friend. Our biggest complaint was the 8% price increase in January. When we originally looked, we were told maybe 2% each year. The 8% was a shock.

Very welcoming place!
Choosing a senior living facility for mom was daunting task but North Canton Danbury Made the process easy. The staff is wonderful and very accommodating.

Our Experience
The staff has been extremely friendly every time we've visited the facility. We are impressed that they always know us, who we're there to visit, they know my dad, what he's been up to and usually can tell us exactly where he is at the moment if he's not in his room. My dad always tells us that the food is like eating in a restaurant every day. He is always buying little treats to give to the cleaning ladies because they do such a good job on his room and are so nice to him. We consistently receive calls or e-mails if anything is going to be different or if there are any concerns. We truly cannot say enough good things about Danbury and how well they've helped my dad integrate into their facility.
As for recommendations for improvement, our only concern was that the cost was increased by 8% this year. That was quite a large leap. My dad is already straining the limits of his budget and we hope that any future increases, if needed, are more moderate. We would be crushed, as would he, if he were priced out of being able to afford to stay there. It's been a great experience for him.

My new happy home at Danbury
At first I was hesitant about moving to a senior apartment. But after visiting Danbury, I was sure this was the place for me. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. My apartment is very convenient and pleasant. If I have a need, all I need to do is ask and it is met. Danbury is great!
