My mother began her stay at Cascade Inn in an independent living capacity. Mom was very happy at Cascade Inn as an independent resident. Since then she has transitioned to assisted living, and remains in good spirits. l can not take care of her like I wish I could as I work nights, but I know she is being well cared for. The residents and staff know her by name, and are very friendly to her, (and myself when I come to visit her.) If I had to state one thing that I wish was different it would be entering the facility after business hours as the doors are locked, and require a phone call, and request to open them, but in reality I also appreciate the fact that not just anyone can walk into the building after hours when there are fewer staff members. Cascade Inn also provides an avenue to transition into a Medicaid status if and when it was necessary to do so.
