Thank you
Thank you, [name removed] and [name removed] for being so kind and sweet to us. You always make sure my dad is being well cared for. Thank you for sending him two very amazing caregivers who are attentive, professional and thorough. Both caregivers show up with a smile and complete their tasks to the best of their abilities. They are doing a great job, even when my dad is a challenge! I will always remember and appreciate how well my dad was taken care of. He is living his life to the fullest with the help of Bright Watch.

Awesome experience
This is my second time using Bright Watch, but I needed to use their service for different family members so I wanted to add another review. I first hired Bright Watch in 2014 for my parents and they serviced us until November 2019 when both my parents passed away. In April 2020 my husband and I noticed my mother-in-law's Alzheimers has progressed we decided it was time we get a caregiver. I recommended Bright Watch to my husband's family due to my awesome experience. They agreed so I called Bright Watch and spoke with [name removed] who has been there for 10 years and she gave me a ton of info to pass on to the family. My husband's 6 brothers and sisters each reached out to her individually. She was so kind, helpful and answered all our questions. Long story short we signed up to use Bright Watch again and we have been very happy with the caregivers and both [name removed] and [name removed] in the office. To all of the staff Bright Watch, you have been a blessing to my whole family, thank you AGAIN!

Unprofessional and uncaring
I had been using BrightWatch but have found then to be unprofessional and caring more about protecting themselves than a patient. I had a caregiver who gave out Medical information in breach of HIPAA rules that caused problems. Then after being told several times by written doctor orders and myself, ignored the need for a "low Sodium" diet and fed, bacon, hot dogs and processed food to a dementia patient who had to be hospitalized because of excess fluid. Then the caregiver opened a legal document which she had no business doing and then when caught blamed the dementia patient who does not remember or understand the ramifications. When I complained to the owner [Removed] and wanted her replaced he tried to blame it on the dementia patient. These are not people you want caring for your loved one. I fired them,

Response from Bright Watch Caregivers, LLC
May 24, 2017
We appreciate your feedback. I am sorry to hear that your experience with Bright Watch Caregivers was anything less than five-star. Jill Nelson’s review is not unexpected, but disappointing none-the-less. Bright Watch provided excellent service to the client in question for 2 years. I'd like to take the opportunity to clarify a few specific points: Our caregiver did not breach HIPAA laws, she vaguely informed the client’s concerned brother of his condition which we were never told not to do. We understood that as an ex-wife who did not live with the client, that you did not have power of attorney and that the client was totally responsible for all his actions. As a matter of fact when the client used you as an emergency contact you asked us to remove you as a contact. While we understood the doctor’s orders on a specific diet we cannot force any client to do something they do not want to do. When the client went grocery shopping with the caregiver he chose to buy bacon, hot dogs, and soda. As much as she told him not to he would say yes and explain "it was his money and that's what he wanted.” Our caregiver did replace some of his favored foods with low sodium items. The excess fluid was not only due to processed food it was also because your ex-husband is, unfortunately, an alcoholic and would walk to the store after our caregivers shift ended. When we hire our caregivers, we make sure to only seek out individuals that hold high values of honesty, compassion, and professionalism. While the caregiver was told to open the mail, by the client, she should have taken other precautions, as it is against company policy to do this without the office being notified, and she was reprimanded. I tried to resolve this issue with you and we agreed to meet at the client's home with the caregiver. The morning of the meeting you let me know you would not be attending. I recorded the entire meeting and called you after to discuss. You were not satisfied with the outcome and canceled service. We would have happily replaced the caregiver. It is our professional and personal promise to assure that our clients are safe and secure in their homes, and receive the best care possible. While you were not satisfied with our service there are many clients who are. We invite any and all individuals to call or visit our office. Bright Watch Caregivers is more than happy to provide referrals from current and former clients and families. Please note that the client was very happy with our services and the caregiver. He acknowledged that he was very dissatisfied with your meddling in his affairs and confessed that you threatened him into firing our company.

Bright Watch Caregivers were responsive and came out to see us. They were good with what they did. We did not go with anyone at this time though. We are relying on neighbors and friends.
