I didn't find the front main front desk person especially friendly, but they were helpful if you needed something. I had an issue with the administrator and the assistant administrator when my mother-in-law had been hospitalized and been in rehab for a UTI. When they came to evaluate her, they wouldn't let her return to the Atrium, although according to the evaluation paperwork, she should have been able to return, although she was weaker than she had been, and would need more care. When she left she was a level 2, and I will agree that she was probably at a level 4 at that point, but I thought she deserved the chance to get more therapy to gain more strength. She had started out there as a level 4 and had done well until she was at level 2, before her last hospitalization. When I called to question\n it, they told me she could come back if I got her on hospice so they would have some help. I think they didn't think I would be able to do that since she didn't have a terminal diagnosis at the time, but I did get her set up for comfort care, and they still refused to take her back, after a year living there and being told she could age in place and stay there, she had to move to a new facility. At that time I learned that she couldn't get therapy while on hospice, so we discontinued hospice so that she could get therapy, which she did benefit from for a short time.
