The CNAs and nurses are all top notch!! They are compassionate, efficient, and treat your loved one like family. Rating the care staff separately they would get a 5, although the facility was always short staffed.The administration on the other hand would get a 2 or a 3. Communication was terrible between the admin and hospice, admin and staff, and admin and family. The admissions person did not communicate information to the staff, so the family had to inform the care staff the first 5 days what my loved one needed until all staff had been briefed. My loved one was never on the correct diet the entire 6 weeks because doctor's orders were not communicated. I called repeatedly to pay bills, leaving messages weekly and waiting days for a return call.
