Our holistic well-being framework is comprised of four essential components, in optimal combination: supportive environment, discreet care, social connection, and cognitive health. We collaborate with the resident, their family, doctors, and care partners to create an assessment-based plan of care, with supervision by on-site 24-hour licensed nursing staff and 24-hour dementia care-trained associates on-site. We also offer coordination with third-party and visiting therapists, clinicians, and specialists.
Our thoughtfully designed community consists of four distinct, locally themed neighborhoods, 12,000+ sq. ft. of secure outdoor space with walking paths and seating, and a Town Square with centralized amenities. Knew all the best places near me

Marina amazing aid
My poppy has been at artis due to Lewy body dementia. He is in hospice and mostly hard to communicate with. [name removed] has been the only aid able to get him to eat full meals. [name removed] vhas the patience of a saint and a gigantic heart. She will stay in the room with my poppy for an hour if needed to make sure he eats. She listens to make sure he swallows before giving him more food. She changes his position lifting him to make sure he is in a viable position to eat. She lovingly jokes around with him even. She always has a smile on her face.

The best place for memory care.
The Director of the Artis Way/Case Manager, [name removed], plays a pivotal role in overseeing the wellbeing of the resident and their family by ensuring the care partners and staff understand an individual's needs. She "sets a resident up for success" and really pays attention to details about likes, dislikes, and family connection as well. My mom was declining, and they surprised ME with a birthday party so that my mom could be present. It meant everything. That being said, it takes a village, and being present and visible as a loved one is always beneficial in making sure needs are met by the staff.

Warm and Compassionate Senior Care
Since my dad moved in this past February, I have been Impressed with Artis Senior Living of Somers (which is impeccably maintained) and the staff. My dad comments every time I speak to him that the staff could not be nicer or more helpful. I am very comfortable with our choice and would definitely recommend Artis to someone looking for Senior Memory Care in a warm, welcoming atmosphere.

Artis Review
It's a brand new facility- opened in May. So they are only 1/2 filled now, which means when a resident arrives they get a lot of attention and the staff get to know them as individuals.
My loved one has medical needs and they have a full time nursing staff which was very hard to find. They have an in house doctor so I only need to take him to occasional specialists.
Until now I've had to cover so much of his care - for several years. It has been a great relief to have him here.
