The perfect place for dad
We're thrilled with everything about Arden Courts! The staff in particular get 5 stars from our family. They have been welcoming since our tour. And being 1,200 miles away, it's so nice to receive regular updates about dad's health and activities. For the first several weeks they were calling us regularly with updates to let us know how he was settling in. Since then, we've called at least weekly and I can tell that the staff know our dad well, and are very familiar with him. I love when they share anecdotes and stories. After a year of intensive in-home caretaking, I had a lot of guilt about moving him into a facility when his needs became more than we could handle at home. However, Arden Courts had relieved me of that burden. I know that he is receiving excellent care.

Amazing Place For Mom
Placing my mom in a memory care home was the hardest decision I’ve ever had to make. We are so happy with Arden Courts (Seminole). Mom is so loved and well cared for and we are so thankful for the entire staff. She is safe, loved and happy.

It's a very welcoming community. They are very concerned with keeping the residents comfortable. They try and engage them with daily activities. The staff is very hands-on. The facility is very clean. My family thinks it's a wonderful place for a parent with Alzheimer's and dementia.

The Marketing Director was exceptional from our very first contact with her. She was extremely knowledgeable and was able to assist us with complicated questions that we had. [name removed] always treated us like family and you just knew she genuinely cared about my dad and our entire family. All of the staff - and I mean all... we're always friendly and took the time to clearly explain what was happening or just go out of their way to say a simple hello. Wonderful experience
My husband passed away on [date removed]. If I had to use only 1 word to describe my experience with Arden Courts, that word would be wonderful. The longevity of their employees speaks volumes- employees there work together; the atmosphere is calm and thoughtful; the family of the resident is important and is always kept advised; their activities are impressive and engaging and kindness, compassion and helpfulness seem to be their way of life.

Could use Improvements
The place is very welcoming, and the workers are better than most of the other places I have seen. They could improve with watching the residents much more and provide better care. The girls not only have to watch the residents and also do their laundry. Too many times I have had to discuss the care of my family member not being taken care of like her teeth are not in for meals, sheets need to be changed, and the room in disarray. They just increased their prices and I have seen reduced care.
Overall I feel the medical field in general is not up to the standards as they should be.

Welcoming and Caring Community
The food is great. They have a lot of variety, such as salmon, pork, and vegetable soup. My loved one has been doing great with the activities. The value for the money is great, for the care that my loved is receiving. Arden Courts was a very smooth and coordinated transition. They provide support to the familiy, and residents, which is important. Everyone is very friendly, and it's a genuine feeling. I would recommend to other families.

Would Definitely Recommend
So far they've been extremely helpful to me. We had some problems in the beginning (no fault of Arden Courts) with my loved one on the wrong medication and behaving combatively. With the help of the VA and the physician at Arden Courts, we now have him on medication that his keeping him calm and much happier. Things are working out quite well and I'm very pleased with the care that he's receiving. They offer so many activities for their residents. The cost is high, but I'm getting my money's worth. And I would definitely recommend them to other families.

Highly recommend
We decided on Arden Courts because of the location - it was the closest to me. Also the director and the sales person were phenomenal and still are to this day, if I have any issues they hear me out and make sure things get taken care of. Everyone has been very friendly, you walk down the hall and everyone says hello - it is a great atmosphere. I would definitely recommend Arden Courts to others.

The nursing staff was very attentive and I appreciated being informed of any and all issues and incidents no matter how small. The administrative staff was also exceptional listening and responding to any concerns I might have. For memory care needs this is likely as good as it gets with a caring staff and good facility. Not perfect but nothing is. I wish for more caregivers per resident but Arden Courts is still better than any alternative I've found for my mother and I looked at a lot of places. {Name removed} is a wonderful person and gets to know each resident and their family.
