They have a doctor that makes house calls there weekly that she thinks the world of. They have monthly family night with a theme. All family members are welcome to come and have dinner. We bring the great grandkids on that night. We bring her dog every Tuesday to visit. It makes her day along with the other folks there and the staff. She loves her room there, the staff and her newly made friends. The staff was really knowledgeable about who to contact if you needed to use outside services like physical therapy or home health. The meals were pretty good. My MIL really likes the sweets. We chose that place because it was in an area that was already familiar to her and convenient for us to go there. Also the other places we looked at were more expensive and we didn't really like the area they were located.
