You may want to find your next favorite book in our private library, or watch a movie with neighbors in our movie theater. We have a whirlpool bath for quality pampering and self-care, and we also have a convenient beauty parlor and barber shop on-site.</p> <p>Our courtyards are a wonderful place to enjoy the outdoors on our walking paths and gardening areas, and you’ll appreciate the peaceful and elegant water features. Our living room provides a cozy spot to relax in front of the fire at the end of the day, and you may enjoy some music at our grand piano — or sit down to play it yourself!</p> <p>You’ll enjoy three meals each day, served in our spacious dining room. Mealtimes are flexible to suit your preferred schedule, and we can accommodate special dietary requests. In order to make life easier, we offer regular housekeeping and laundry services and have an errand and shopping service you can take advantage of. We also offer many life enrichment activities for you to look forward to, such as intergenerational programs, parties, exercise classes, music therapy, pet therapy, and weekly religious services. We also have off-site excursions for you to look forward to.</p> <p>When you move in, one of our registered nurses will conduct an initial health assessment, with periodical assessments to make sure you’re getting the level of care you need. Supportive care includes verbal reminders to help you remember to take care of important daily tasks. Assistive and comprehensive care services provide more attention, as we monitor activities of daily living. We’ll be ready to offer a helping hand whenever needed, and always encourage independence whenever possible. We always offer medication management, regardless of the level of care you need. Physical, occupational, and speech therapies are also available on-site.</p> <p>Memory care residents enjoy the same levels of care as our assisted living residents but in a secure area of our community. We have neighborhoods set up to cater to the different stages of memory loss, so residents can safely engage in activities with those who share similar cognitive abilities. You’ll also benefit from weekly visits from our physician and nurse practitioner.</p> <h3>Living Arrangements</h3> <p>Adding Place of Alpharetta offers a variety of floor plans for you to choose from, including wheelchair-accessible options. Our assisted living community consists of studio and one-bedroom apartments, equipped with kitchenettes, so you can keep your favorite snacks and beverages on hand. Memory care residents may choose to live in semi-private suites.</p> <p>Regardless of what you choose, you’ll enjoy individual climate control and a private bathroom with safety features, including grab bars and an emergency response system.
