I was told I could not take him home after being in a transition care facility. I was driving by Prelude and saw a daughter and her mother sitting outside so I stopped by to ask how she felt about the care her mother was getting. She gave a very positive response. That was the sign I needed. \nMy husband could not walk the entire 3 years at Prelude and was always taken care of in a very respectful way. Our Wellness Director has a passion for serving families who are facing the challenges of memory loss. The Cottages are equipped with a state-of-the-art resident monitoring system, a secured garden area, and a unique sensory room designed to promote relaxation and decrease anxiety.<br><br>Through a program of care focusing on engagement and empowerment, the Cottages meets the unique needs of individuals with memory loss, providing them with a home environment where they are known by those who are caring for their needs. We use strength based programming which focuses on each individual’s personal preferences, strengths, and life legacy.
