Best place to live
I love this placement que the people are very very nice. Everything is new and we have everything in our apartment. I go first walk. The chef does try to do his best but it is not easy because this is a big community. The food taste good. The staff feels like family.

Westmont of Carmel Valley
They won’t let me give this place over 10+. My family was surprised that I wanted to leave my nice home for a senior community. I had a senior advisor who took me to many places in the area I wanted to live. Without hesitation I put a down payment here and it wasn’t even finished being built. The point is, without even going inside everything I learned about Westmont exceeded my expectations. Movers set up my things and the first time I went into my home, I cried immediately with tears of joy! I love this place, the staff, and all the people around. I felt at home from the moment I moved in. Within weeks I found that I have a fabulous extended family! And it’s been the best place to live since day 1.

i like the caregivers and how fast they respond. They treat us with so much kindness and we feel like family. I am allergic to most foods but the dining is still very kind to me. I love this facility

Westmont the Bestmont!
My mom is a resident of Compass Rose, the memory care facility at Westmont of Carmel Valley. It is clean, well lit, lively, and I appreciate that there is an activities coordinator dedicated just to memory care providing fun and thoughtful activities throughout the day, every day.
Caregivers are energetic, upbeat and friendly providing a loving and positive environment for all.
The Resident Service Director is always available to answer my questions and concerns, and is very involved with the comfort and care of each resident.
It took Mom a while to adjust to being in memory care, but we see her flourishing in Compass Rose and living her best life now. She feels comfortable, clean and safe in her new home. This is a beautiful high-end facility where you pay for great services. Seasonal events are well coordinated with Assisted Living as they put on fun and extravagant events for all residents. I am so glad that I found Westmont of Carmel Valley for my mom.

Having a great time at Westmont Coral Valley
I originally moved to Westmont Of Carmel Valley as a support system for my wife. Originally we were in independent living, but as her diseased progressed, she now is in compass rose their memory care unit. She receives excellent care from well trained care workers that treat her like their own family.
My life in independent living is full of activities. There is always an exercise class a craft class or a happy hour
With entertainment to keep keep us busy.
To move to West Valley
Choosing to move to Westmont Carmel Valley was the best decision I could have ever made.

A nice place for mom
The staff there for the most part is very kind and accommodating to the residents. Activities director, front desk, handyman, are all very helpful.
I had some issues with the director and a few senior staff at the beginning, communication was not great. But the director has left I believe since then.

Home away from home
Westmont Carmel Valley is absolutely beautiful, there is a lot of land surrounding it, beautiful peaceful views, it's a very quiet area, close to restaurants, grocery stores and pharmacies. There is parking for residents that drive and a shuttle for those that do not.
The staff is very friendly, I always feel welcome when I drop by to see my mom.
There are a lot of free classes for the residents, happy hour, live music on many days and for holidays they go all out.
The food is good, I think there could be done improvement with the taste of the food and maybe more staff to serve but it is good.
Overall I feel like this has been one of the best places we have seen and we are happy

After all, the only reason these places exist is to make Money.

Good enough
The place is new which is a plus. Staff are friendly and I think are over worked. I think it is hard to get staffing for retirement communities so they see a bit short staffed. we appreciate the flexibility of independent living but with some services and no buy-in. Also nice to know additional help is available if needed.

So use this a beautiful place and they all try hard to make things work very good for the most part. For one I feel safe here. I usually walk around the community during the morning and afternoons. In addition, the fitness is always available for us to use.

Great place to call home
There's a lot of wonderful things that happen naturally here like for instance cleaning the rooms making sure everybody's OK. Food is exceptionally good and the staff are wonderful and always trying to please you you feel at home. You actually even feel rich when you're not but it's a nice place a very nice place and I'd recommend it to anybody and you would feel right at home.

Amazing equestrian/coastal vibe setting!
We were so impressed with this new community! My mom has had horses all of her life and fell in love with all of the offerings at Westmont of Carmel Valley! [name removed] was a wonderful guide and shared lunch with us. We absolutely loved the two bedroom unit! We are going to move next year after her home sells. The entire staff was so pleasant and kind!
