The assisted living and independent side was great.

This facility has assisted living, and assisted living light (independent), as well as memory care. The assisted living and independent side was great. We really liked them. They were awesome, the food was wonderful, the apartment was beautiful. We hated the memory care though, it was like

Village Shalom is a Continuing-Care Retirement Community located in southern Overland Park, Kansas. We offer independent living villas, assisted living apartments, short-term rehabilitation suites, long-term skilled nursing care, assisted living memory/Alzheimer' care and skilled nursing memory/Alzheimer' care.

Village Shalom opened its doors in 2000, but has a tradition of providing quality care to Kansas City older adults dating back to 1912. Village Shalom is sponsored by the Jewish Community, but is open to those of all faiths.
