In house visiting nurse practitioner is excellent. Executive staff is trying; much upheaval.
Polite and helpful initial entry. Clean and organized. Safe. Nursing staff is non-communicative. Dining is poorly staffed and mom complains the food is not good. Half of the LEAs are good but other half is agency hired and they do not speak English so hard to communicate and safely work alongside.
Main staff communicates well and again the working staff is marginal. I do not care for the nursing staff. They make you feel like you are a total burden.

Tour experience
We had a good tour experience with Victory Centre of Vernon Hills.
We thought it was a nice facility, but another place seemed like a better fit for our loved one.

Community Tour
I liked Victory Centre of Vernon Hills. It was a really pretty place, older but pretty. It had a beautiful courtyard. Everybody was really nice - the staff was great to me. They spent time talking to me and showed me everything on the tour. There were a lot of activities. I thought it was a fantastic place. I just preferred the layout of the resident rooms at another place, which were more open and less compartmentalized and therefore easier for my loved one to navigate.

Mom moved in....
My sister and I knew before our mom moved into Victory Center that she would be happy there, and she is. [names removed] helped us thru the governments paper work and admittance for our mom, the engineering crew helped with the move, lovely young women on staff stopped by and introduce themselves, to see in mom needed anything and a lovely resident named [name removed], who is the welcoming committee, stopped by to have a chat with mom and then came back to take her down for dinner. What started as an overwhelming and daunting experience was at once make easier by everyone at Victory, we are so grateful.

Check This Place Out It's a Winner
This is worth looking into. The community is accommodating. This is a really nice place to go. The residents have a lot of activities to take advantage of. The common areas are really nice, with people all around which is nice. I would recommend the community to others.

This is a great community. I recommend checking this community out and going here.
The staff is friendly, accommodating, caring, and is a clean environment for the residents.

Victory is a Senior Living gem in Vernon Hills
We were in need of a faculty that would care for our parents as they entered the later stages of retirement. Our parents have been at Victory for 2 Years. We couldn’t be happier with choosing this faculty. The staff is friendly, caring and personable. This is a modern, very clean facility. Check with the business office regarding Medicaid. Daily activities and trips are ongoing to keep your loved one involved. The wellness center will manage medication requirements and can assist with most basic needs. You truly become Part of the Victory/Pathway family. We have had such a positive experience we felt the need to share for any other families looking for a great place for the care of your loved ones. Highly recommended!!

Very nice warm feeling there. Lovely courtyard and nice clean common areas. The only concerns we have would be 24/7 medicine management/nurse care as the person we are looking for is unable to administer his medication himself.

A Caring Community!
My mother has experienced friendly residents, an exceptionally caring and helpful staff, and a clean and comfortable environment. She loves her room with its huge window giving her an opportunity to grow her favorite plants. There are multiple places to sit such as the large living room, community room for activities, library, dining room, and a lovely outdoor patio. The Victory Center community functions as a large family, and I am very impressed by what I've seen and how happy my mother is.

Friendly Staff!!
My grandmother has recently made the move into this community and so far we have no complaints of how things are going for her. The staff seem to be friendly and have been attentive to her needs. I am thinking we found the perfect place for and I am highly looking forward to our experience with this facility.

Very pleased
The staff were great with dad for the short time he was there. The food is good and they do offer healthy options. The community is clean and they do offer daily activities. This is a smaller community and dad felt comfortable when he toured it. We are looking forward to seeing how things continue to go.

Very Close To Family
We are so thankful that we found this place and that they are able to handle conditions such as my brother has. The staff is amazing very helpful, kind and friendly. the community is always clean and well maintained. The food is good he is enjoying it. The residents are friendly and sociable however my brother seems to find them on the older side than his age. He has used the dentist, podiatrist, and the barber shop and has been happy with each service. He has gone on a couple of outings that he enjoyed. The location is perfect for us half way between myself and my sister.

Great Community, Working Out Well for Us
My mother is doing great with her move to this community. Everything is working out very well, and I'm very pleased with her move here. There are nice activities offered, and the meals are good. They do a good job with the cleanliness of the community. The staff is good, they are kind, and helpful when needed. All is well for us at this community, and I would recommend it for your loved ones.

Enjoyable Activities!!
My loved one has really been enjoying this community, she has made the adjustment and is very comfortable in her new home. My mother really likes to play bingo as well as the other activities they offer throughout the week.The dinning experience is great she likes the meals as well as the company of the other residents.

High Cost Place!!
When we arrived to the community we received a pamphlet and noticed that the prices were very high. From what we only got to see of the community it was clean and the staff were nice. The staff that greeted me in the beginning treated me very well. In the pamphlet it gave you the meals plans and activities offered, but we didn't go on with our tour.

Various Activities Offered!!
The Victory Centre of Vernon Hills has wonderful staff. I was able to get all of my questions answered during my tour. The community was well organized. I really liked all the activities and amenities that are offered. The guide was knowledgeable and very nice. I would recommend a tour of the community.

He Is Happy
Well from what my loved one tells me, he seems to be very happy staying at the Victory Centre. I know that they are having trouble with keeping some of the waiting staff, but other than that there is not a problem.
