Caveat Emptor - It's Not What It Seems (Stay Away At All Costs)
The staff and Director give a lot of lip service. They are unable to do this or that but that is what I am paying for. Example 1 : Do not allow residents to have leg catheter bags. Must carry the large bag on their walker. It is considered a night bag but they did not want to change out the bags so they can wear it on leg. Visited Mom several time and the tube was a safety hazard. She was walking on it and tripping. They indicate that they have a 24 hour nurse at the facility but that doesn't seem to be the case. The Director of the Med. Tech room was not pleasant to deal with and here response to any question was "NO" Example 2: Mom had catheter issues and they only do laundry once a week. Therefore sheets and clothes are put into a mesh bag and set on the floor until Wash day. This means the Urine is in the carpet now. The place is the worst for sanitary conditions. Her catheter bag was being drained and put down the shower drain. They have a lot of good people but some are just lazy. They don't rinse the drain bottle out and when they rinse the then put it down the sink drain. Mom is susceptible to UTI's and the conditions they are invoking are dangerous Example 3 - The catheter bag is to be drained every so often but lately they have not been available, especially at night, to make this happen and of coarse there is no management or anyone to assist with this. Mom pushes her button but no one comes as they are severely understaffed. Personally I think the health department should pay them a visit or whoever oversees these facilities. They should be put on notice and and have their license under scrutiny.

Thank you for reaching out and sharing your concerns about your mother’s experience. I can hear how deeply frustrating and stressful this situation has been for you, and please know that your mother's comfort and well-being are genuinely important to us. We understand how vital it is to have peace of mind when it comes to a loved one’s daily care and safety. While our community operates under specific regulatory guidelines and individual service agreements that outline what our staff can legally and logistically perform, we take all feedback regarding communication and cleanliness seriously. We want to ensure your voice is heard and that we clear up any misunderstandings about our policies or care limits. Please reach out to our regional Courtney Lane at (916)956-3526 or colane@integralseniorliving.com so we can discuss this situation further.

We were very impressed about the cleanliness, options of living spaces for residents; and happy active people. It doesn’t work for us at this time as it is just a tad too big for our small town parents.

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your feedback. We are thrilled to hear that you were impressed by our cleanliness, living options, and vibrant, active residents! We completely understand and respect that finding the right fit is deeply personal, especially when transitioning from a small-town environment. While our community might feel a bit too large for your parents at this time, we truly appreciate you considering us. If your parents' needs or preferences ever change, or if you simply have more questions down the road, our doors are always open to you and your family. We wish you and your parents all the very best in finding the perfect community!

We just moved our mother into this facility. It has been a circle of confusion in the last 2 weeks. Mostly from the conversation of what was said before she moved in and what actually happens when you live there. A place for Mom should have a questionnaire that has a list of what to ask when interviewing the facility. For example, yes they have transportation to Kaiser, BUT, they only go on Tuesday's and Thursdays and only drop and pick them up. They also have a certain amount of people they can take and once full you have to reschedule the appointment. Nothing was said about assisting them once they are at Kaiser facility and/ or assistance. We are very disappointed in all the hidden add ins and lack of medical assistance. More to come.

September 3, 2026
We are truly sorry to hear that your first two weeks have felt overwhelming and confusing. We strive for complete transparency, and it is clear we fell short in communicating our exact transportation schedules and the limits of our support services for off-site appointments. We would like to sit down with you and your family right away to review your mother’s care plan, clarify what medical and transit assistance we can provide, and see how we can better support her daily needs. Please reach out to the Executive Director, Kristine at your earliest convenience so we can address these concerns personally.

Experience at The Terraces of Roseville
Apartment is large (2 bedroom, 700 sq feet) so that helped a lot with the downsizing transition. Food is good with a standard menu plus two specials everyday for lunch and dinner. The staff are respectful and caring, but I do notice that sometimes things get missed (daily pet care has been spotty). There are a wealth of activities to choose from although I can't comment on the quality because my mom does not participate.

Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are pleased to hear that the spacious apartment made your mom's transition smoother, and that she is enjoying our daily dining options and caring staff. We take your comments regarding the consistency of her daily pet care very seriously. Providing reliable support is our priority, and we are addressing this with our care team immediately to ensure it is resolved. Regarding activities, our team is always happy to connect with her to explore options that match her personal interests whenever she feels ready. Mom is content
My mom is very content here. The staff really cares about the residents and create a genuinely loving environment. That is what we love about it. The lack of adequate and timely maintenance is our only complaint. It takes an unreasonable amount of time to get repairs done. When they are finally addressed, they are rarely completed correctly.

A very good place for my mom
No problem with the staff. Still very friendly and personable. I would recommend the Terraces. The one thing negative is that the facilities need updating. There was a pipe break which stained the carpet and it has not been remedied in over 2 months.

The Terraces of Roseville
What I like the most about the community is that most of the employees are cheerful and helpful. I am in my sixties, but many activities seem geared toward those in their eighties (which to be honest, appears to be close to the median age here). For example, their "happy hour" should be called a "root beer social"! Music of the '20s--1920's! I would appreciate a little more variety of interests offered. Yes, I would recommend The Terraces of Roseville to other families. They have been very accommodating.

I initially spoke with [name removed] who was very professional and even sent me a video of the available apartment before our visit. [name removed] did our tour and this is a very clean and bright facility. There was a ton going on for the residents and the price was right. Ultimately our dad chose another facility but this was me and my sisters first choice. This would be a nice place for any senior to live, from independent living to hospice.

staff is pleasant and management addresses any concerns I have immediately. I have had to ask on a few occasions to take the overflowing trash that was there the week before and they are not consistent on his laundry service. Overall would definitely recommend
The intake paperwork was a little chaotic and they got us off to a slow start. Maintenance seems overworked so it's been a little tough getting a few things completed. The staff is so kind and really seems to genuinely care about the residents well being. Also the grounds are beautiful and well kept. They have been wonderful and my mom likes it a lot. I am extremely pleased that we chose The Terraces. It's perfect for my mom & her dog. She has a room attached to the "dog park" which is such a lovely setting full of activity and tranquility both.

Great independent living
5 all around, when we had to make a change and move to a more assisted living situation it was a bit challenging to connect with them. I think that it's important to check in randomly, get to know the staff, maybe eat there now and then just to have the feel of the place.

A Place for Mom has scored The Terraces of Roseville 9 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.   We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.   Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
