Mom was not eating much by the time she arrived and was bedridden so could not participate in activities. My only regret is that we didn't move her sooner, so she could have been taken care of when she was mobile. I was able to call and ask about her and the staff would apprise me about how she slept, if she was eating etc. They also took the phone to her so I could talk to her and tell me what she was trying to say, if it was garbled. One day when we were talking she told me that she was crying when I said I loved her. I think that was my last call with her. It was worth every penny to know she was comfortable there and being well taken care of.
