Very Impressed
The Remington is a wonderful place. It's new and bright and uplifting. I'm sure if they were adequately staffed more of our responses would be 5s. We understand they face the same staffing challenges as all businesses do these days, and the staff that is there are wonderful, caring people. My mom is happy there and has made friends with residents and staff. The food isn't bad but it would be nice if they had more fresh fruit and vegetables instead of so many carbs. Thank you for helping us find the Remington!

New management.
When Anthology changed to Remington I was a little concerned that things would not get better. But I have seen a lot of changes such as more activity’s and A friendlier environment. My sister is in memory care and I see first hand what takes place on that floor. this is not an easy job to take care of people in memory care. My main concern is my sister is taking care of, not only by the staff but also [facility removed] Hospice . The staff is very friendly and treat me with respect , which means a lot. From the workers taking care of my sister to housekeeping and activity’s the people doing the job are the best. I also see what has been happening on the other floors. Things definitely have got better. I hope this continues.

I'd say my experience has been very positive. We picked them actually because we needed something quick and they were very helpful to us. We wanted a place closer but they declined to help us!

What we really like about the community is the kind doting staff. Beautiful surroundings like mums home. All inclusive pricing. Basically one of only places in area that she can stay till end of life - dis not want to move her second time.

It's pretty clean. Everybody that I have talked to, has been very friendly and great. The interaction with the staff is great. My friend is starting to engage more with the activiites. We picked this community, because of the avalability, it was cleaner, the staff seemed friendlier, and it was a close location. I have already recommended Anthology and A Place for Mom to other people.

Grateful
They are so apprachable and there for us. My loved one likes the food. The food is really good. The staff is really great. They have a lot of good activites. They work so hard. The value for the money is good.
We picked this place, because it's a smaller community, and much easier for my loved one to get around. The layout makes it easier for the elderly. Overall, we are very happy. They are very dedicated to the residents. They are welcoming, remind them of things and listen when there are any concerns. Overall, it's a great place.

Tour experience
Our tour experience with Anthology of McCandless was nice, the guy who showed us around was very accommodating. It is a lovely, bigger facility and they had a lot of activities to offer. It is a lot like a lot of the newer places and just felt a little too cooperate for us. We were looking for something smaller and more homey feeling.

Community Tour
After all of our tours, it was a toss up between Anthology and the place we chose - although my understanding is that the two are related somehow. Basically if my loved one's situation were to change and she needed more care later on, she might advance into Anthology.

Our tour experience
Our family was able to have an in person tour and Anthology is a beautiful facility, but the outdoor area was skimpy and kind of small. Also the community sits by a main big road so the location was just not the best.

Pretty good care nice community
They have lost some staff and things have started to change since then. There are less people to do things now so the activities have slowed down. They still do stuff on the assisted living side but for memory care they are more dependent on the staffing and they have still been going on outings. I would recommend this facility and feel that it has it ups and downs but overall it has been a good place.

Overall it has been okay
What we really like about Anthology is the cleanliness, anywhere you go in the community is very clean. Some of the downfalls would have to be with the staffing. In the beginning when the community was not at capacity they did have adequate staffing. However now that they are increasing the amount of clients they are taking in, they are not increasing the staff so the staff to client ratio is off.

Excellent Facility
My Mom has lived at Anthology since 2019 due to dementia and it is a beautiful place with lovely amenities. The staff is so kind and caring to all of the residents and I am so happy we found this place. Residents have their own apartments and they are beautiful.
The staff is attentive and there are many activities to attend. The pricing is reasonable compared to other places we viewed, especially for a relatively new facility.

Hotel Feel With Care
We have been very pleased, Anthology is brand new, very clean. My father asked me how long would he be staying in this beautiful hotel. This community does not feel at all like a nursing home, it feels like you are in a luxury hotel. We have been very happy overall.

Wonderful place
