Review of The Pavilion At Creekwood
It's a nice place. The only qualm I have, is that they are not adhering to my mother's restricted diet even though I made sure that was marked down as needed.

This place has major issues with the care of the people living there. Wrong meds given, Very little cleaning, food is disgusting on many occasions. Look elsewhere but not here.

No! JUST NOOOOOOO!!!!!!
As for ME, I seriously regret placing my loved one in The Pavillion at Creekwood. But iYOU must do your OWN homework. And here are a FEW guiding questions that might help you make a wise decision: *Will YOU be able to determine WHO owns this company? * Will YOU be able to find any online footprint indicating an organizational chart? *After 5 pm, when YOU can no longer come inside the facility (because no one will answer the door if you knock AND the front door is locked AND the entry codes are disabled) will YOU be able to CALL SOMEONE INSIDE THAT BUILDING who will actually ANSWER the phone, so you can tell them that your loved one just called you & needs help NOW? *Will YOU be able to rest easily in the belief that the level of care is consistent in DAY shift, NIGHT shift, & on WEEKEND shifts? *Will YOU be able to determine whether or not ALL prescribed medications are accurately being administered? *Will YOU be comfortable with all of this? * I WAS NOT & NEITHER WAS MY LOVED ONE!!!

Lack of care or consideration for severely disabled MS person
My sister has been there since the facility open but with this corona virus they have locked down the facility and keep all family members out. My sister has a camera in her room because she has had MS since l984. Today I watched her room for 3.5 hours and not a single soul entered her room to check on her. She cannot move, talk, or do anything because MS has destroyed a lot of her nervous system. I called because she has a large subcutaneous ulcer about 1/2" wide and 1/2" deep on her back. She is supposed to be kept dry and turned according to their own wound doctor. When I called to say she been seen by anyone for 3.5 hours no one answered the phone. Not the DON, THE Assistant DON OR THE CHARGE NURSES. I finally got to talk to a person named [name removed] in the business office and explained that [name removed] had not been change or looked at. She went on to say they were working with other patients and were very busy. I told her my sister was also a patient. She got angry and told me they could pack her stuff up and I could take her to another facility or home. I said you know that is not even possible now. She then hung up one me. Two aides eventually went down to her room and low and behold she was wet and the incontinence pad underneath her was soaked also because I watched her get change. This total neglect needs to change immediately and the business office personnel needs to develop some empathy for the patients in their care. Laying in your own excrement for hours and being told they are busy is unacceptable. Once in 3.5 hours for someone who cannot talk or move on their own is minimal care at the least. This corona thing has made the nursing home even more dangerous because they are understaffed and the business personnel don't care one bit about the patients in their care.

Overall, the experience at The Pavilion at Creekwood has been fine. I believe the therapy has been going well. There has been a situation with his medication. He also complains that he could get more assistance with his meals. Other than that, it has been going well for him and the staff is friendly. I would recommend them.

The experience at The Pavilion at Creekwood has been good. At times it has been an issue when you press the call light. I would prefer the facility to use a system like a hospital does that allows the patient to speak into the intercom when they press their light for assistance. In general, the experience has improved.

I have heard good things about The Pavilion at Creekwood. We chose this facility because someone we know has a loved one here and they really enjoy the experience. I always appreciate that their activities director will do a great job getting the residents to the events. They will do whatever they can to have the residents there to listen to the music.

It has gone pretty well at The Pavilion. It is a beautiful facility and the therapy has been good but sometimes they are just short-staffed. I see this more at night. The therapy is really good but if your loved one requires a certain level of care it might not be the best place.

about The Pavilion at Creekwood

A Place for Mom has scored The Pavilion at Creekwood 1 out of 10 using our proprietary review score.

We assign review scores to give a more reliable view into senior living communities and home care agencies. Our review scores prioritize reviews that are recent — the past 24 months — because we know families need current information when choosing senior care.

Those with many recent, positive reviews receive a high review score, while providers with few recent reviews — regardless of how positive — receive a lower review score. Communities with no recent reviews will not have a review score, even if older reviews are positive. The maximum A Place for Mom review score a community can receive is 10 points.
