Clean and Well Decorated
I liked that one too. We moved her only because we live 90 miles away so we wanted her closer. It was very clean and well decorated.

Dumping on grounds
I moved here in 2017. All was good at first, but shortly after, I assume Maintenance leadership changed. Our building is located between two buildings used by maintenance staff. The staff has habitually used our residential dumpster area for dumping left behind furniture. These dumped items (mostly large furniture) are in no manner concealed, but left out in the open and can be viewed from our front doors. Some of the residents have gotten flat tires on their vehicles from screws and nails that have strayed from the items dumped. The dumped items will sit for weeks, allowed to pile up, until management feels that they have a full truck load, and then, only then, do they call for disposal. I personally have called the office numerous times, and also had a face to face meeting with the manager, [name removed]. I was given excuses and empty promises. Months later, the dumping continues. Why do they feel it is OK to dump furniture on the lawn of our "home"?? Some of us are documenting the ongoing dumping activity and will be reporting it to both the local news and the city. Had enough!!

Going Downhill
My parents are currently at Regal Palms. They used to love it, but in the last several months things have gone down hill FAST. Of particular note the meal service has changed dramatically. They used to have a choice of 3 different entrees at night, now it is one, and more often than not, that one is inedible. I've called and written to corporate, but 'no one has been available' to speak with me. When management doesn't care, care goes down.

VERY Nice & Expensive!
My hubby and I toured this place and let me tell you it was like walking into a very expensive hotel. I would NOT suggest moving anyone with Dementia or Alzheimer's here... we literally got lost just taking the tour. LOL But it is VERY nice and also VERY expensive, nearly double what other ALFs charge and that's without the care. Although very clean and friendly staff I would suggest a smaller place so that nurses can focus more time and care on your loved one.
