Advantage here: a NON-PROFIT facility, a division of town services, the last of its kind in CT due to decades of for-profit healthcare.\nTNW was for years an officially 5-star facility; it still is, really, despite the shrunken HC labor force post-Covid, increasing costs, & understaffed government agencies that review long-term care facilities.\nTNW’s review on the CMS site is over 2 years old, & many of those issues have been rectified, but not yet updated. The nursing staff-to-resident ratio is higher than required by CT law.
