They walk you through the process and explain how it works. The housekeeping and laundry are done once a week for the residents. Excellent service and great staff! The food is very good and each resident has $750 to spend on food every month that is incorporated in the cost of Assisted Living. Also, there is a plan called Sound that you can put in place for people with dementia issues. It helps them with dealing with dementia issues and keeps their mind occupied to help them. I would highly recommend The Harbor Chase of South Portland to anyone who has a parent going through these problems like dementia.
