The Fairways at Grayson Valley provides a special combination of personalized services, homelike living spaces, and interactive activities. In the restaurant-style dining room, residents can dine on chef-inspired international cuisine, or they can opt to eat in their own room via room service. All the things they say on the phone while you are on hold are lies!
There is no alternate meal. Diabetics and normal diets are the same. Most meals consist of rice, mashed potatoes, noodles, some kind of meat, and a roll. If you can’t eat something, you get a peanut butter and jelly sandwich. There is no dietician, or even a menu for the folks ahead of time. There are no nurses on staff after 4:00 any day, or week ends. The meds are passed by med techs.

Needs Improvement
My loved one is no longer at the facility. The food and activites needs to improve. The food was horrible. They served a lot of pasta, which was too much startch. The only activities they had was bingo. A couple of staff members were very rude. The director was super friendly, and the social services person was nice also. I would not recommend to other families.

Our family had an in person tour and we really liked this community but our loved one needed memory care and it is only assisted living. What really stood out to us the most is that you could really tell how obsessed the residents were the staff, that is a very nice thing to see

The facility is pretty nice, I think some things could be upgraded. But mom is very pleased. The staff is very friendly and quick to address any issues we have. They do housekeeping often and her room is very clean. The food is good, mom is happy with it. Communication with the family is very good. They do have transportation for appointments and dining, which is great. I would recommend them to friends and family.

Good place for loved ones
The meals and dining service is like clock work, very consistent and good. What really stood out to us and sold us on the community was the overall friendliness of the staff members we met.

Couldn't ask for anything better
We chose Elmcroft of Grayson Valley because they were one of the cheaper ones in the area, especially if you have a roommate. Even though it is a shared room, they have their own bedrooms and then they share a bathroom and living room. Their administrator came to our house since this was during covid and made the transition easier for us. Their caregivers have been awesome, they treat my mother like she is the only one there. They call me about anything and have been great with communication from the get go. They have a nurse on staff 24/7 which gives me peace of mind as well. The location of the facility is great, it is centrally located to a lot of different things that you might need. I could not ask for a better place for my mom and I would highly recommend them to others who are looking.

Good community
Elmcroft has nurses on staff 24 hours which is exactly what we were looking for. The day to day staff like the ones who do the house keeping, and help with bathing are a little understaffed. As far as we are concerned they have been very accommodating to our loved one, and we have seen them being very helpful. The residents have been on lock down a couple of times which resulted in them having to eat in their rooms, but they are back to eating in the dining room. Our loved one has not complained about the food so its safe to assume it is pretty good.

They're Like Family
The community is starting to open back up slowly. Right now they don't have any activities due to COVID.
I would definitely would recommend this community.
The staff is super friendly and we are on a first name basis.
They treat the residents like family.

A Nice Place
We were very happy when my mom was at Elmcroft of Grayson Valley. The food was good, Room size and layout of the community were adequate. The staff was good to us. They have outdoor space for the residents to use.

Level of care
It is important that the level of care for our love ones to receive the comfort of home care and privacy to protect them at any cost. Staying informed (communication) to the well being of our love was is a plus. It is also important that our loves feel safe and loved. Elmcroft of Garayson Valley hospitality is A+.
