The facility and rooms are bright, inviting and lovely. We have found that all the staff we dealt with to be friendly, professional, informative and caring. We receive updates when needed; our questions and concerns are always answered in a timely manner. We have observed that since our mother has been at Moorehead, she is happier and much more engaged socially than she was when she was living alone. Our mother likes most of the staff members and in particular [name removed] who does so many varied and fun activities for the residents as the Life Enrichment Coordinator. Her biggest and consistent complaint has been the quality of the food. We weren't sure if it was the quality of the food or that she wasn't very hungry, however, when she stayed for a few days in the hospital she loved the food there and ate very well. Overall, we are very happy with Moorehead and would recommend it to anyone seeking Assisted Living in the Indiana, PA area.
