View of a Food Snob
My experience with the community has been good overall. The community is clean. The staff are helpful and caring. Everyone is friendly. The biggest concern I have experienced is the food-it is ordinary with no snack bar, and there are limited eating hours which make it difficult for the residents that don't want to eat during those hours.

Terracina Grand Review
5 stars for all questions.
Caviat on #5 (Food). I was unimpressed with the restaurant but my mom put on 10 lbs. in 6 weeks so they're doing something right. My mom loves them.
I've only had 3 days of interaction with Terracina Grand, but the staff seems very caring and my mom is content and optimistic.
I credit Terracina helping her with peace of mind.

Would Recommend
They have a lot of activities, and the people are very friendly. The medical / nursing staff stay on top of everything. Sometimes she doesn't care for the food, but that comes down to personal preference. The unit is suitable for her, and she's as independent as she can be. They do a good job helping when needed but allowing her to remain independent where she can be.

Tour experience
Terracina Grand was hands down my favorite tour out of the many other places that I looked at. I absolutely love [name removed] who I worked with and all of the personnel I interacted with were great. The room that she showed me was beautiful, but there was only one entrance and I needed 2 because I had to let my dog out so that was important to me. [name removed] called numerous times after the tour even after I chose another facility to make sure I was happy and things were working out how I wanted them to.

Peace of Mind
My loved one's room is always clean. I think my loved one is in the best place possible here. They are always caring, and my loved one is well taken care of here. My loved one loves it here and really thinks everyone is very friendly. The staff are wonderful to work with if I have questions or concerns about my loved one.
Some of the activities available include bingo, puzzles, trivia, balloon bat, music, and more are available to choose from.
Medication management, bathing and dressing assistance are some of the care the community is able to provide.
The care, all the meals, the room, utilities, changing of linens, housekeeping, transportation, and laundry are included in the monthly fee.

Limited English of caregivers. Hard to understand.
Food has changed due to corporate cost cutting.

A Wonderful Change
The staff are very compassionate. They're also very efficient in their process. My parents tell me the food is good. It has been an absolutely wonderful experience for my family, and I would recommend Terracina for sure.

Our Tour Experience
There wasn’t a significant difference between the places we visited. Like the other places we saw, Terracina Grand was a reasonably good facility. The tour was well organized and professional, and they explained things well. The differences came down to location, which played a small part in our final decision.

Questionable
They give you a good speech before you come in, and once you are in it's a different story. The food is horrible. The food has a lot of carbs and fats in it. The new menu is horrible as well. They don't seem to be accommodating for dietary restrictions. It seems like they pass the buck when they can. They are short staffed, and there is hardly anyone in the dining room.

I had two minor issues with the community. They have to do with the communication. It could be better with the way they present cost during move in.
The care they provide is great. They have a preferred pharmacy of Mother's Pharmacy. The community couldn't tell me what the pharmacy would charge for the medication would be.

Tour of Terracina Grand
We did a virtual tour with Terracina Grand and it was a very nice facility. They did a great job in the difficult circumstances and showed us around the rooms as well as the courtyard. It was very convenient for my sister and I since we live in different states with different time zones. We were able to tour it together virtually and ask any questions that we both had.

We could not be happier with Terracina Grand. It is going so well for my uncle. It gets all five stars from me. Everything is excellent. All four parties involved in the decision making decided this place is the best. He has dementia is all smiles at this facility. The staff are very attentive at this facility. It has been an excellent experience.
