Best of all, I get to be a daughter again now that someone else is taking care of most of my mom's needs. In addition, a great bonus: in-facility primary care, visiting lab (for blood draws), visiting dental hygienist. There's also a park nearby for outings - green space always welcome! There’s a strong sense of teamwork and I never have the sense that there aren’t enough staff to take care of residents’ needs. I feel so grateful knowing my mom is in wonderful hands and I can return to being a daughter who gets the pleasure of visiting without having to do chores all the time and worry about her safety.
