Lived here 3 and a half months
Appreciate the wonderful lighting, artistic presentation, multiple activities, help getting medicall apointments and outings, happy hour and music. Excellent food and flexible food hours.

Great facility
It is a great facility. The food is exceptional, the activities are good and plentiful. The main drawback is the cost , very high , although in line with others, they are mostly all ridiculously high. My wife had a hard time adjusting, she was there just short of 2 months, we went back to home care from Cornerstone.

Beautiful facility, excellent care
It is a beautiful facility with great food and friendly staff. My mom was in memory care with dementia
She died after a fall and broke her hip. It was because she could not remember she couldn't walk. Her funeral was this past Tuesday.

Review for CedarStone Senior Living
They were great and the faculties were amazing. I wanted to move in! Unfortunately, my father in law was only there 3 nights, was back to hospital and had to go to a care center because of the side effects of his illness. Cedar Stone refunded part of his month's rent because he was there such a short period. Very good of them. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Cedar Stone!!!

The facility itself is beautiful and has a comfortable homey feel. The staff has always been great at answering questions, or adapting to whatever changing needs my parents need/needed. I appreciate the personal interaction they share with all the residents.

Friendly staff - delicious meals
Some lack of communication between staff. Resident's laundry left in the laundry room and not brought back to resident. Staff member responsible for laundry never brought laundry back to resident, or spoke to resident afterwards.

Very nice place for mom
Mom is so comfortable in her apartment. She is very relaxed there and has been sleeping well at night. She was hesitant to leave her friends and move two hrs away, but is making new friends all the time. She says everyone is so friendly; both staff & residents. Staff is cheerfully helpful with whatever she needs. Sometimes we feel like the younger staff would benefit from a bit of coaching on accomodating seniors. For example, offering non-alcoholic or sugar-free options of treats & desserts. Many wear dentures so a soft cookie may go over better than something with caramel or toffee. Being short-staffed, if an activity does not have a leader available, or supplies for a craft, post a note somewhere so residents are aware it is not taking place. Overall, staff tries so hard to be accomodating. A very nice "place for mom."

Would not recommend
The care that we received here was ok at first, and as the months wore on it became worsened. We paid additional fees for additional support and assistance that were not provided, or were provided very half heartedly. Through many specific, documented interactions, and promises made and broken, we lost faith with CedarStone and found different care.
Outside of care, there were times over the winter where there was not sufficient heat to support the residents. Supplemental heat was provided, but this was a concern for us going into the upcoming cold season, as a rather new facility would hopefully not have these ongoing issues.

Wonderful Place for Seniors
The staff are very kind and helpful. They went out of their way to make [name removed].feel at home. The amenities are great. The facility is newer and very modern; kept clean. They have great activities and socials. I would highly recommend this location for anyone looking to move to assisted living.

A Place for Mom helped me find Cedar Stone. It was a perfect place! He had the best care and loved it there. He passed away in November....complications from Parkinson's and dementia. They were very knowledgeable, caring, and professional.
