Mom got great care
My mother was a resident at St. John's for the last six months of her life. She received excellent care. She was unable to walk, but the staff carefully lifted her into her wheelchair and then a comfortable chair in the living room so she could be with others. All of her food had to be blended, and the staff took care of that and then fed her patiently. We, her family, were always welcomed and treated in a friendly manner when we visited. When she died, the staff was caring as well as professional and was very supportive of us family members. I recommend the St. Johns homes and staff highly.

So Far So Good
I like how everything is going so well. The staff are on top of their care and I have no problems. Since my husband is limited to activities the staff interact with him. My husband enjoys all his meal, it did take awhile in the beginning. It seems very clean and has no odors. It is close to me too.

They're suberb
It's very good, from what I've met of them, they're wonderful. There aren't any activities there that he wants to do, but he was the same way at home, unless it's talking about World War II or Korea, he doesn't like to communiacte. They bring him out of his room at least three times a day and that's not including meals, I haven't seen anything I dislike about it yet. I like the cleanliness, the people, the location, out of the four we saw this was by far the best of all of them. I highly recommend them.

Contract
We paid about $5,000 for about 1 1/2 days of care. Our loved one passed away and they kept all the money. We understand the contract and that they are not obligated to refund money but it just seems like ethics should come into play at one point. $1,500 was a down payment and they charge about $3,000 for monthly rent.

Not bad
They are not a bad community had an issue with them but that is more of a personal issue with them rather then a community issues. Overall they are fine and really not a bad community just thinks they could have a little more empathy.
