Not really a good fit for my parents
My parents only had a short, one month, stay at Spring Creek. Their healthcare needs weren't really a good match for the services provided there. My dad, especially, didn't have the mobility to have the amount of care provided be sufficient for his needs. I think that the caregivers were doing what they were supposed to do, but my parents needs were greater than "assisted living".

Kind and compassionate staff, some operational issues still to be addressed
1. Resident intake is very ad-hoc. There were a number of things that are generally supposed to happen mostly around explanations of where things are and what's available. My dad was supposed to get a key fob to allow him to get in and out of the building after 7pm but a) wasn't given one, and b) didn't even know this was an option so was quite upset that he thought he was a prisoner after hours.
2. Maintenance is extremely understaffed. The directors claim that all maintenance requests should be addressed within 48 hours at the latest. My parents had a number of problems with their unit when they moved in and they hadn't been address a month later (and this was only after I had repeated badgered SC. One example was that their in-unit microwave was broken. This is the only kitchen appliance in the unit so fairly important. Eventually (~3 weeks), they replaced it with a different model that couldn't hang under the cabinet so took up ~2/3 of their available counter space. Their claim was that the model they normally use is no longer available. So I went online and ordered one (that model that no longer exists) and installed myself.
3. Accounting. This is pretty serious. Their account tracking (bills and payments) is a complete joke. There have been multiple times both where items show up on the bill without explanation and, when I go down to the office to ask, they can't give me an answer right away. I'm still (after > a week) waiting for an explanation of a [fee removed] charge. OTOH, there are line items I know we were supposed to pay that have never shown up. That's their penalty for being disorganized. ?? If it weren't for the fact that I've taken over all bill payment for my folks, these things would've just floated by.
3. Package tracking. My mom is on an assisted living plan that includes administering medication. My dad is not. A package arrived from his pharmacy and SC just lost it. He reordered the meds and, about a week later SC found the package.
4. Dining. Two problems here: Unlike most restaurants these days, there are no flags on the dining room menu indicating which items are (GF) (D) (V), etc. This is important for my mom (no wheat) and my dad (diabetic). When I asked the administration about that, they said, "huh, that's a good idea. we hadn't thought about that." Really? It was obvious to me within 10 seconds of opening the dining room menu and this is not my full-time job. The other problem is less severe and more subjective. The food is not great. I've eaten with them a number of times and have never been particularly impressed. My parents are the sort who would never complain about this kind of thing but they do hear from the other residents who do.
5. Emergency pull cord response. All the units have emergency pull cords in almost every room (2 of 3 in my parents' unit) but, in addition to emergencies, this is also the mechanism just to call for any sort of help you might want. You've spilled something and need help cleaning it up? Pull the cord. You need help finding your sweater? Pull the cord. You've fallen and hurt yourself? Crawl over and pull the cord. The obvious problem here is that the chronically understaffed floor team can't distinguish between emergencies and not. Response fatigue sets in and it's not uncommon to have to wait 10 minutes to get any sort of a response. There was a day when my dad was out for a walk and my mom fell in the bathroom and hurt herself. She pulled the cord and then sat and waited. My dad got back ~10 minutes later and the floor staff showed up a few minutes after that.
These are all problems (some quite serious) but, that said, they are actually settling in pretty well and I think they'll end up happy there.

Excellent place
My parents are hard to please. They love Spring Creek and the location is perfect for indecent living. They call Spring Creek, the all-inclusive senior resort. My mom also likes the available options if they need to utilize assistant living.

Very caring
I think Spring Creek is a good place, and I would use them again. I have recommended them to others.
They served sandwiches for dinner. The activities were available, I think they could have encouraged my husband to participate more. The only people enjoying the activities were people able to join in without encouragement . This is memory care and not everyone there was capable of deciding to join.

Warm and Kind Care
The staff at Spring Creek are all very kind and helpful. Communication with the family is clear and concise, on time, and not overburdened. The move in process was super smooth. The meals are adequate, but I'm a cook so I may be biased. My mom says they are tasty meals! I would recommend Spring Creek to others. In fact, I already have and a new member will be moving into Spring Creek in a few weeks based on my family's experience.

Responsive Staff
We felt that my brother was in a good place. He was the youngest resident, by a lot, but he made friends with other residents and with the staff.
The facilities are well maintained, and the director takes a lot of pride in the facility.
The staff was always quick to respond to my text or phone calls.
The dining room was great. Residents had menus, and got to choose the food they wanted at each meal. There were also snacks available at different times of the day.
I have recommended Spring Creek to other people. My brother moved out only because he could no longer live in assisted living.

A very Nice Facility
Things are getting better. My loved one is getting meds on a regular basis. The doctor is pleased with the improvement. I would like them to keep up with daily care and housekeepings. The friendliness depends on the person. Based off feedback from other friends/family members, the people who provide my loveds one, meds were very nice. My loved one goes to the dining area on a reg basis. They have activities, and a list of what's going on.

Very Kind Caregiving
This has been a good experience for my loved one and family. The caregivers are very good. The value for the money was the most reasonable for meals and care; however, there are add-ons by the community.
This is very clean community and always smell good.
The meals are good as well. There are three meals a day served to the residents. Lunch is the biggest meal of the day and is usually a hot meal. Then dinner is a smaller hot meal. There are sometimes sandwiches or chicken pot pie served. The community always provides dessert with dinner as well.

Would Recommend
They are very supportive and understanding. They know their niche/business. For what my loved one needs, they are there for her. Public spaces are clean, although the back stairwells could use some attention. The food itself is fine. I just wish they would make accommodating preferences easier for people who are less good at articulating their needs. But I realize that's a two-fold issue, and we're working on it on our end. There are lots of activities and things to do. It's very expensive, but there's lots there. And I would recommend them to other families.

Better than others, but still not satisfied
This facility is better than some of the others we toured seemed to be, but I'm still not sure I would recommend them. The food is pretty bland and they use a lot of sugar. The variety of food that we were promised just isn't there. Staff turnover rate is pretty high and the staff is not always reliable. We feel over sold and we're actually moving our loved one out of there. I will say, they were accommodating on short notice, which we appreciate. We needed a place fairly quickly and they helped make that possible. But we do feel oversold, especially on the attentiveness of the staff. My loved one doesn't always know how to advocate for himself, which makes it harder. The facility is pretty clean and they have a welcoming atmosphere. They do excel in that. Communication with the family has been good. I would recommend talking to other residents and staff and not just the tour guide, I feel like that definitely would have been helpful for us.

A nice place to call home.
It depends on your condition and needs. They don't seem to cater to any dietary restrictions. I really went in looking to stay there long-term, but I found a place that's so much better and so much cheaper. At Spring Creek, they did have a nice choice of apartments, and I got one with the storage I needed. They were clean and kept up, which was important to me. I was there for the apartment and the activities, and those were both good. Although I wish they had a swimming pool!

Nice Community, Good location
I think this is a great place to be. My loved one was in assisted living and they did everything they could to help and provide as much service as they could to him however, this facility just did not work for his needs. all the services that my loved one needed. They would always answer my questions and were there for me to train me with any help I needed.

Excellent Care Place for Your Loved One
The family was in and out to see our loved one in the community. They even allowed us to bring the dog in to see our loved one. Once the doctor classified our loved one as hospice we were able to see our loved one in person.
The staff was accommodating for the family and our loved one. The staff were very nice to work with.
Todd deserves the highest marks possible. He was wonderful to work with. They kept the residents up-to-date with any changes via notes on their doors.

Given the COVID restrictions they are doing the best they can with the activities. What stood out to us most was the friendliness of the staff members. On the independent side the rooms are functional and better than adequate.

Respite time
I had my mom stay a Spring Creek for a month and a half for respite care. The minute she walked into the facility she was hooked. She loved the cleanliness and size of the building. They had an exercise room as well as a big game room. Everyday we would exercise, play pool, shuffle board and bean bag baseball. Everyone was so very nice to her and she really loved that.

Not good. After receiving what was probably a false narrative about another interested party in a room we were interested in we started paying a month early and paid the community fee ensure we had a place to care for her. After their nurse made their care level review they assured me that they could take care of her. She was there for a very short time. We had to move her out after only a week or two after she fell and broke her arm as they took an hour sometimes to respond for help. They also then said their transport bus could not get her to her doctors appointments after we had specifically discussed where he was before signing. After further battles with them the receptionist finally drove her. The nurse there continuously pressed her to get her kids to drive her to the doctor and why can’t we do more for her. We pay them to do this we we work or not able to help her. They pressed me to sign and pay before they could do the care level evaluation. I was promised that if they could not care for her they would refund the money. After giving them money the nurse of course said she would be fine with them. When she was sick at the time of her arrival there and she could go down to get food. They would forget to bring her food or we very late and would bring her very bad food. They lied about their response times and when I asked for documentation in response time I was not called back as promised. It was then we decided she would not go back there after leaving the hospital
In summary my mother left there with a broken arm and without $7k for being there less than 2 weeks. They do not have enough staff to give the care contracted. Also after leaving the hospital for broken arm the place was locked down with flu epidemic. So another reason we had to keep her in long term care at a Medicare recovery house and not put her back.
