Extended Family home for my dad.
The staff members at Solstice Senior Living at Auburn have been amazing with us and my dad. He has settled in there and I know most of it is because they treat him like family. We would definitely recommend this community to other families based on the experience we have had so far.

Grateful for Solstice
We are so grateful that my cousin has a new home at Solstice! The staff is wonderful - friendly, welcoming, and engaging. There are many activity options daily, as well as weekly outings. Extra support care is available, so that someone who may need extra help down the road does not necessarily need to move out. Solstice's location is convenient to us; and stores, banks, and restaurants are nearby.
The cost financially is a stretch for us, which is why my cousin is in a large studio rather than a 1-bedroom. However, we highly recommend Solstice if your family can afford it.

Great senior living experience .
If I could give Solstice Senior Living at Auburn a 6 I would. They have gone out of their way to make her welcome. She says it is beautiful there. Staff is extremely happy and helpful. We would absolutely recommend this community to other families, everyone from staff to other residents are so welcoming and everyone always seems happy.

Solstice review
The staff at Solstice are very kind and sweet to my mother. She loves it there and even has a boyfriend now, the food is great and the facility is being remodeled. It is going to be beautiful. The apartments are very nice and they have many great amenities provided as well.

Based on our experience so far with Solstice Senior Living, the staff there have been amazing with us and my loved one there. Wonderfully Fantastic
I have never ever been dissatisfied during my loved one's time at Solstice at Auburn. I get my questions answered and I get the help that I need when I ask for it. Your loved one will get out of the situation what they put into it. Solstice has all kinds of activities available if a person chooses to participate.

#1 Choice Out of All the Many Other Places We Looked At
They're very accommodating. It truly feels like they're there for the residents, and not for themselves. It's a business, but it's not run like a business. The staff are very friendly and will help out wherever they can, even when it's not their job to. I recommend them highly. Unlike the other place my mom was at, everybody here seems happy, and everybody tries to get to know each other.

A Great Place for Mom
This place is awesome. My mom loves it! She loves her apartment, which has a great view. The staff is amazing. Everybody here has been so friendly and helpful. They did a great job helping get her moved in and settled. If I have questions about anything, I can go down and talk to anybody down there. It's been a really good experience so far. Of course it has been an adjustment for Mom, but she's settling in nicely. The food is really good, and they serve three meals a day - breakfast. lunch and dinner. They have two salons on-site. The value is great for what she's getting here, especially compared to other places.

A Perfect FIt
No place is perfect, but they're pretty close to it. They do a good job across the board. They have a friendly staff and community. It's a clean facility. The entrance is well done, and they decorate for the holidays. They landscape. Mom has a beautiful view from her apartment. It's very pretty. They have meetings where the residents can give input. We're very pleased.

Good place for loved ones
Our loved one has yet to really complain about the meals so we think she is happy. We also know she is happy with the outings they take her and the other residents to especially to the nail salon. The value for cost is more than reasonable especially with all of the services they offer.

The staff is incredible! Joyce and Paula are my favorites.
The management staff here is incredible. The new Executive Director, [name removed], really cares about the residents and is an advocate for positive change. [Name removed], the Director of Sales and Marketing, is very helpful and humorous. They make everything very enjoyable here.
They listen to the residents and have made changes based on our feedback. They have made Solstice a better home.

Friendly caring staff
My mother-in-law moved in three months ago. It was a hard beginning but with the help of the friendly caring staff she has settled in nicely. The staff keeps us informed of how she is doing and was instrumental in introducing her to like-minded people. (Who have now become friends.) The residents are independent but know that there is always help at the front desk if needed. The only complaint we hear is about the food which arrives cold and is not as varied as she would like. We hope this will improve now that the dinning room has reopened and with the hiring of a new chef. We are thankful we have such caring people looking after her.

my limited review
There is no staff on sight for medical issues. they have an outside company that the resident can contract with that will inflate the cost, they were expensive, to begin with. I would recommend this community if your loved one is independent and doesn't need a lot of medical care.

A good fit for my mom
They are very good to her. Generally, the food is very sporadic, she isn't happy with the food, in the dining room it can take a very long time, and they don't offer a lot of different condiments for the food. They have frequent chef turnover. The staff have been great and she enjoys almost all of them. We chose this community mostly because it was highly rated and the grounds were flat to walk her dog safely. They were able to offer her a larger apartment and its the closest community to our home.

Caution
Think twice about encouraging a loved one to live here. While the setting is desirable and most staff are caring and skilled--some exceptionally so--there is a serious problem with management, not just due to the frequent turnover. After one year of residence with no issues our mother was spoken to and treated abusively, negatively impacting her health and safety while already under stressful virus restrictions. Both she and her family were lied to and threatened--all to achieve a result that basic communication skills and human kindness could have more easily achieved. The current executive director needs to find another line of work before harming another resident.
